Villa Miranda

We had a really special stay. The hosts are extraordinary friendly and helpful. Truly beautiful accomodation

Very nice house with a beautiful garden and a fantastic barbecue terrace. Bedrooms with comfortable beds, cleanliness everywhere. The kitchen is well equipped. The host Apostolis and his family are very nice. They gave us eggs laid by their own hens and made us their own Greek bruschetta.

Location close to Kerkira and several good beaches. Host Apostolis very friendly, gives advices, made us a reservation for a very good restaurant in Kerkira-Rex. Villa is quiet, very clean, comfortable for family, kids.. Welcome fruits and water were provided for us upon arrival. Very warm people, his mum made breakfast for the kids one morning. 2 Turtles in the yard and 3 cats, kids enjoyed a lot also the jacuzzi in the yard.

We have spent 4 nights in Villa Miranda and had a wonderful experience. We arrived late on Sunday and most shops were closed. The hosts offered to prepare a meal, which was totally unexpected and made us feel a bit guilty to be welcomed so generously. As far as the villa is concerned, the photos don't do it justice. The interior is elegant, clean, and well-equipped. We cooked breakfasts for ourselves and all the tools were in one of the many kitchen drawers. All the amenities are modern and function well (TV, A/C, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker and milk frother are among the ones we have used). There are enough places to have a meal or a drink that we have jokingly designated each spot for a different occasion throughout our stay. As for bedrooms, each one has a separate A/C unit. The wardrobes are huge and the beds - big and comfortable (I obviously slept in one but friends reported the same about their beds). There are 2 bathrooms and one additional toilet. Same high standard as everywhere else - clean and up-to-date. The hosts have replaced all kinds of towels for us on a daily basis. Moving on to the exterior, this in our opinion is the jewel in Villa Miranda's crown. There is a hot tub (modern and clean, again), sunbeds and umbrellas that we didn't use. It's the perfect place for a BBQ with friends. The area has a large grill, a tap next to it and an electric socket. It's remote enough that you are not disturbing anyone at night and there are resident cats running around courting you for food. The place is located in a hilly terrain about 2 km west of the main road in Gouvia. That at first seemed like a disadvantage for beach access, but we did not bother with east ones and went straight for the west ones, which was a good choice and Villa Miranda’s location gets you closer to them. Glyfada Beach was 15 minutes away by car. All in all, our group thought the place was quite a gem.

We didn't find a pot of gold underneath the sink. Other than that, perfect.

It is very nice! They have beautiful rooms,clean kitchen and very pretty garden! And the people are very friendly!

Best hosts i've ever met, extremely child-loving and friendly. Wish all hosts were like this! Made our stay rememberable.

Villa Miranda ofera toate facilitatile de care ai nevoie. Curtea este frumos amenajata cu multe spatii de stat. Priveliste minunata. Proprietarii au fost foarte draguti; ne-au oferit gogosi cu miere si caracatita prajita care au fost pregatite de d-na Miranda si au fost foarte bune.

Daca distanta fata de drumul principal/mare era mai mica astfel incat sa nu ai nevoie de masina ar fi fost perfect.
