The Boat House

The property had everything we needed. We absolutely loved sitting on the deck with the beautiful river and mountain view. So relaxing! I also like that they had a washer and dryer for our use!

The shower was super small, but it still got the job done. Air conditioning would have been great, but I totally understand they typically don't even need it. It just happened to be a very hot summer for Switzerland this year.

Lovely little boat house. Stunning views from the balcony looking out over the lake. Loved being able to sit out to have breakfast and in the evenings for a drink. Had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The welcome book was very helpful. A little walk to the train station but bikes provided cut down this time and were a great option for cycling around the lake. Could walk to the ferry and Harder Kulm funicular stations easily.

Shower was a little on the small side but was warm and powerful. Would recommend getting a taxi from station to the boat house with cases as we struggled a little in the heat (we were there during a heat wave). We used the taxi service recommended in the welcome book to get a taxi back to the station on our last day and this worked perfectly.
