Clean but not satisfied

The room was clean and the bathroom had no smell. Also a small kitchen on the second floor.

Unfortunately no hot water for the whole time of my stay. Also the room’s heating seemed to be turned off and the room was so cold at night.

Nice quiet affordable place close to Interlaken

In front of gas station. There was noise coming from ventilation or something like that. But it stopped after 10pm. Bathroom sink was getting clogged somehow and water was not going through.

A pleasant place to stay in Interlaken on a budget

The room is nicely decorated with a balcony and nice view over the mountains (although the view is also of the petrol station). The shared bathrooms are modern / newly renovated. Check in was quick and easy.

It wasn’t clear from the listing that the room had a shared bathroom. There was no fridge or kettle in the room. Very noisy - you could hear everyone just walking around at all hours. Parking cost an extra 10 CHF per day, to be paid in cash.

A modern and great value stay in Matten with a scenic view

The view of the mountains is fantastic and the building/room is super modern and very clean. The free bus pass that also doubles as a discount pass for certain activities on the Interlaken/Thun area is also a great touch and makes travel by bus all the easier and at no extra cost. When doing activities mention the card to save some money before paying for the activity such as visiting Thun Castle. There was also a fan included within the room which made up for not having control over air conditioning or an overhead fan. The owner who's phone number can be accessed via WhatsApp is also very kind and responsive. She was wonderful!

I really wish there was a secure way to store luggage in this location. The late check in time of 6pm makes storing luggage challenging especially if you don't get a storage location at interlaken West, Ost, or Wilderswill. For example, my wife and I carried our luggage around most of the day until we could store it in different hotel leading up to check in at Q lodge. If there was a way to store luggage, or allow earlier check in times, this location would be even better. The last few things that one should know about especially if they are larger like me (I'm 6'4, 210lbs) is that the showers are very small so moving around can be challenging. The showers were clean, worked well, and the shower height could be adjusted, but just something for others to know. There is also no mini fridge or any way to store cold items. Perhaps US based hotels have spoiled me but having a mini fridge in the room is a huge perk that allows for keeping refrigerated items. I made the mistake of not checking and bought some items I had to either eat immediately or throw out. Finally, the wooden bed frame is nearly the same height as the bed itself so be cautious.

Tolle Weiterbildungstage verbracht mit toller Übernachtung

Sehr tolles Ambiente mit Liebe zum Detail, sehr unkompliziert mit dem Schlüssel

Tankstelle gerade vor dem balkon (einfach ein bisschen schade für die sonst sehr tolle Aussicht, WC/Douche im Gang - wusste ich ja auch bereits vorher…. Ist dann aber doch ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig… alles aber kein Problem….

Tilava, siisti huone. Parveke. Näköala vuorille. Siistit kylpyhuoneet. Rauhallinen ympäristö ja sijainniltaan ok, kaupungille jaksoi kävellä.

Jääkaappi olisi voinut olla huoneessa.
