The best chalet that we have stayed in Swiss. We are welcomed, comfortable, and happy to stay here.

The best accommodation !!!

Everything here was perfect! 3 min walk to Wilderswil station. Super clean and spacious accommodation with kitchen & utensils, and lovely views. Owners kindly picked us up and dropped us off at Interlaken station which was very much appreciated

A comfy home away from home

Location Location Location!!! 5mins to Wilderswil station, walking distance to groceries/ restaurants. Property is well maintained and super comfy. Kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom is clean. Everything works! Best of all, Barbara and Jorg were like family. Thank you for such a lovely stay 💕

Hosts Barbara and Jorg were lovely and helpful. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful with stunning views! It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and more. Some lovely little personal touches such as chocolates in the fridge. Amazing and would love to return one day.

The property is even better in person than in the photos. It’s very clean, spacious and has everything you would need. Barbara and Jorg were also very welcoming and accommodating guests who explained everything and were very helpful all throughout. Probably our favorite accommodation to date.

What a great find in Wilderswil. Had a great vacation!!!!

The owners were very friendly and helpful. Apt was beautiful and provided everything we needed. Loved the balcony and the views are spectacular! Centrally located.

A little warm for Switzerland and apartment had no air conditioning.

Amazing oasis among mountains

Jorg and Barbara opened up their hearts to us in addition to their home. We had reservation to go to jungfraujoch and could not find lockers so Jorg came to the train station to get our luggage. The place felt like home right away. We decided to have all dinners at home in the balcony facing the mountains. We did not bring shampoo and soap (didnt realize that we had to bring them) and they were kind enough to provide it to us. The town is amazing, and a great place to relax right after a busy touristy day. The location is excellent, steps from the train station.

Felt at home in the Swiss Alps

Extremely accommodating hosts. Wonderfully quaint village neighborhood. Close to the train station. Loved the sun roofs. Loved the terrace. Loved the smart TV. Loved the full kitchen with condiments, utensils, pots and pans, plates, glasses, dishwasher. Loved the refrigerator with free Swiss chocolate from the hosts. Loved the garden with town and mountain views.

Could maybe have a bidet? Not really a large issue.

Views from every room.

A great apartment with mountain views from every window and skylights. The kitchen is well designed with modern appliances and is well equipped. We originally planned to eat out each night and only use the kitchen for making breakfast, but the kitchen and dining area were so comfortable that we decided to stay in 2 of the 3 nights we were there. Barbara and Jorg were wonderful hosts.

The low ceiling in the bathroom requires some getting used to.

Best place to stay in the area!

We really liked Barbara's and Jorg's attention to details. Every need was catered for. All the facilities were easy to find and use. The place is spacious, with lot of natural lighting, and very clean (including all the kitchen utensils). The owners are so friendly and they took extra miles to take care of us (like fetching us and taking us to the train station, chocolates in the fridge, etc). The surrounding is peaceful and felt very safe. The train station and grocery store are only a short walk away.

We felt that the place could improved if there is an option for firmer pillows and block out curtain in the bedroom.

We loved our stay at Chalet Sunnmätteli. Barbara and Jörg were kind, helpful and welcoming. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and peaceful stay. This beautiful and cozy apartment was located in the picturesque village of Wilderswil with beautiful scenery and even cows just down the road! A great base location to explore the surrounding areas. We would love to live here full time! Thank you to our exceptional hosts for a wonderful stay.

We loved everything about this property. The hosts are lovely people. They welcomed us with open arms to their beautiful chalet and give us great information about the area. We really appreciated this. The chalet was cozy, very clean and relaxed. The area is so peaceful. We throughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony each day listening to the birds chirping around us. A brilliant stay and we would definitely recommend.

Ruhiger, nichttouristischer Ortsteil in idealer Lage für Tagesausflüge, vor allem in das Lauterbrunnental, im Dachgeschoss eines Privathauses mit hellem Treppenhaus, sehr wohnlich, hervorragende Küchenausstattung, bequemes Bett, sehr sauber, sogar ein kleiner Blick auf die Jungfrau vom Balkon, Gartenmitbenutzung, Parkplatz, sehr freundliche und engagierte Gastgeber.

Rundum zufrieden

Sehr nette Gastgeber, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Saubere, sehr schöne Wohnung mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Es gibt sogar eine Kaffeemaschine, nicht nur einen Kapselautomaten! Parken kann man auf dem Grundstück. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen angenehmen Wohngegend, die Bahn ist nach einem kurzen Fußweg zu erreichen. Bahnanbindung in alle Richtungen gut, das Auto macht Urlaub. Fahrten nach Interlaken sind übrigens mit der Gästekarte gratis. Wir würden wieder dort buchen, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Fantastisch verblijf

Gastvrijheid ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk. Het appartement waar het werkelijk aan niets ontbrak. Het uizicht vanaf het balkon.

Als ik iets zou moeten noemen dan is het dat het appartement geen airco had. De eerste twee nachten waren bloedheet. Er was trouwens wel ventilator aanwezig dat scheelde in ieder geval een stuk. Maar we zouden het daar in tegen gewoon opnieuw boeken.

Excelente acomodação, casa muito bonita com tudo bem novo, possui todos utensílios de cozinha, fomos recebidos muito bem pelos donos, agua bem quentinha, vaga de garagem para colocar veículo.
