Comfortable Stay

Prati Palai has lots of character and heritage. The views over Lake Garda are beautiful as are the gardens with vines and olive trees and the pool. We enjoyed their gorgeous rose wine and delicious olive oil. The bed was comfortable and the towels and linens good quality. There was a good selection of local produce for breakfast. The staff were friendly and attentive too.

The location meant that without a car it was a long hilly walk to town which included having to walk along quite a busy road - a bit scary in the dark! They do warn you about this. We had heavy rain on a couple of days and got soaked. A shuttle to town would have been great. We had a kettle in the room but no cups or tea and coffee or water. This would have been nice to have as we had to buy water from the honesty bar. Some robes would have added a nice touch and fridge for the room.

Stunning, simple and beautiful.

Simple and beautiful. The setting is incredible, very peaceful and relaxing. Everything was of very high quality. The staff were so friendly and helpful and would do anything for you. Very interesting to learn about the surrounding area and wine production. Couldn’t fault it at all, we can’t wait to stay again.

A relaxing stay in a deluxe property. We never wanted to leave

This is an amazing place. A retreat away from the busyness of Bardolino but close enough to walk down. Everything was perfect. The room, the breakfast, the grounds and especially the staff who were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. They booked restaurants, arranged taxis, accommodated my intolerances, even made a chocolate cake for my daughter’s 18th. This is such a special place.

One of the (if not the best) in Garda region

The location and its view over Lac de Garda is marvelous. The personnel were very friendly, accommodating and helpful to all guests.

Since data roaming around Lac de Garda is quite unreliable the only feedback we could give is to strengthen the WiFi.

Amazing view, comfortable bed and lovely staff makes for an easy stay.

The view is gorgeous. Our room was enormous. The pool is a great size and the pool area is so quiet and peaceful and again that view! And Isabella made our stay so easy and organised a boat hire for us on the Lake, which I highly recommend. The bed was comfortable. There is a bar fridge that anyone can access for a drink - water, Coca Cola, wine, beer anytime of the day. No bar fridge in your room. If you are after a relaxing, quiet place to stay, then this is it.

Nothing really. My only thing would be the breakfast ordering. I totally understand Post covid, certain processes have to change. and now You have to put your breakfast order in the night before. This is not an ideal situation if you're out for the whole day and don't get back in time to put your order in. But in the big scheme of things it's just an inconvenience rather than a problem.

Beautiful estate but service and price is not worth it

Quiet and restful estate with beautiful pool

No signal and slow wifi. Service is minimal and aloof. Too expensive for what it is, and although breakfast is included they dare ask extra 4euros for cooked eggs. It was disappointing.

Great location and service but average breakfast

Beautiful location and beautiful house. Staff were very friendly and we appreciated the service of being picked up from parking with our luggage. The service and welcome was very friendly and staff were always happy to help you with any questions and offered us a welcome drink which was nice.

We were disappointed with the breakfast, for the price of the room we expected a much better breakfast. It was very mediocre and the products were not freshly made and there were no local specialities. We were also disappointed with the suite number 8 as I was looking forward to having a nice view of at least the gardens but our room looked at the back of the parking and you had to bend down to look out the window which was a shame. I think for the room and breakfast the price is too high.

Very calm place to relax. Exceptional clean rooms. The view over Bardolino is really picturesque.

If anything I would have liked to have a fridge in the room. I would definitely suggest to have a car or rent a car because without you will not easily reach the city center or any other spots at lake Garda.

lovely, beautiful Hotel with a unique garden

This place has a unique garden and a view of Garda Lake. The renovation of the old masonry building into this beautiful hotel has amazed us. It was a vey joyful, pleasant, calm stay.

The location of hotel is at top of the hill and unfortunately has a very poor road structure. Beware if you arrive late at night.

Amazing location and lovely place. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel does not have a restaurant but does offer small snacks if required. Breakfast is available but unfortunately not very good, although we did not mind at all as the rest of the place makes up for it by far.

Unser neuer Geheimtipp am Gardasee

Die Lage von Prati Palai ist wunderschön, man hat den Gardasee vor sich, ist zwar etwas vom Zentrum entfernt, aber dafür himmlisch ruhig. Die Anlage gepflegt und traumhaft, das Zimmer in dem wir waren groß, hell, es war alles da was man braucht der Ausblick auf See und Garten. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und der Service wie der Empfang sehr freundlich und nett. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Eine tolle Überraschung in Bardolino

Überaus sympathischer Empfang durch den Besitzer mit wertvollen Informationen, Adressen und einem Espresso. Traumhafte Panoramalage mit Seesicht und riesigem Umschwung inmitten von Olivenbäumen und Reben. Wir haben sogar Rebhühner gesehen. Grosszügige, komfortabel eingerichtete Suite. Bequemes Bett mit luftiger, blütenweisser Bettwäsche. Leckeres Frühstück, das am Sitzplatz unter Olivenbäumen oder drinnen eingenommen werden kann. Unser Hund durfte sich überall frei bewegen. Die erste Eindruck und die Lage im Grünen war dermassen beeindruckend, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt spontan verlängerten. Der Vino Rosato aus eigener Kelterung schmeckte köstlich. Olivenöl aus eigener Produktion kann an der Reception erworben werden. Zur Kühlung des Hundefutters wurde uns im Zimmer extra ein Frigo zur Verfügung

Fantastisch verblijf, mooi uitzicht, zeer ruime hotelkamers en erg vriendelijk personeel.

Personeel was heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je kunt ze goed vragen over tips en tours in de omgeving. Het ontbijt was heel erg lekker. Ook hebben wij 1x geluncht op locatie, wat onze verwachting overtrof, verse pasta, echt super! De hotelkamer was zeer ruim, heerlijk bed en grote badkamer.

Wij miste een mini koelkastje op de hotelkamer. Gelukkig hadden wij een koelbox waar wij onze drankjes koud konden houden. Je kon wel 24/7 gekoelde dranken bij de receptie kopen, daar stond wel een koelkast.

J’ai beaucoup aimé le calme et la sérénité de l’endroit, la chambre spacieuse, la proximité du centre tout en étant niché dans un véritable écrin de verdure, ainsi que la gentillesse et l’attention du personnel.

Tout était parfait, il manquait juste un petit réfrigérateur et un petit coffre (un détail)

Prachtige omgeving met uitzicht op het meer, heel vriendelijke en behulpzaam personeel. Goed en lekker ontbijt voor elke wat wils. Mooie kamer met uitzicht over het meer ook heel goede airco en zalig bed. rustig kunnen vertoeven aan het zwembad met een boek en ook weer prachtig uitzicht over het meer. Wij hadden onze hond teckel bij en deze was ook heel welkom. Ik raad deze accommodatie zeker aan als je rustig en ontspannen vakantie wilt. Ook het mooie stadje Bardolino is goed bereikbaar. Wij hebben een super fijne vakantie gehad in Prati Palei.

Wunderschön! Ich würde diesen Ort jedem empfehlen. Man benötigt jedoch ein Auto.

Wunderschöner Pool, sehr schöne Lage mit Blick über den Gardasee. Hunde dürfen überall mit hin.

Frühstück könnte ausgebaut werden. Ein Kühlschrank am Zimmer wäre sehr hilfreich. Da wir auch Hundefutter für mehrere Tage dabei hatten, war es sehr bei den Temperaturen mehr als unvorteilhaft.

Wie schon bereits bei den vorigen Urlauben in diesem wunderschönen und einzigartigem Hotel gab es auch dieses Jahr nichts zu bemängeln Die Lage: Traumhaft und ruhig Die Aussicht: Wunderschönen Blick über Bardolino und den Gardasee Ein Ort um Abzuschalten und Kraft zu Tanken.

Leider gibt es noch keine Minibar oder einen Kleinen Kühlschrank in den Zimmern.

Wunderschönes ruhig gelegenes Anwesen oberhalb von Bardolino. Seeblick selbstverständlich. Superfreundliche Betreuung! Große Suite, Pool. Alles in bestem Zustand. Wirklich schön!

... das Frühstück ist leider ein wenig karg. Weil das Wetter nicht nach unseren Vorstellungen war, hätte uns ein beheizter Frühstücksraum natürlich besser gefallen. Vermisst haben wir dagegen einen Kühlschrank im Zimmer.
