Great place for family holiday

Great location, short distance (8 minutes by car) froma beautiful Houlgate, with a lovely beach and amazing restaurants The covered pool is great addition to the place. Rooms are equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. The garden was spotless and pool was very clean. Dogs were welcome, even though we don't have one 😊 Its closed and safe so great for families with children.

There was nowhere to get a cup of coffee or a drink, I think it can do with vending machine for coffee and soft drinks. Sheets were provided only for stays of 1-3 nights, which shortened our stay, as we decided to stop there on our way back from Paris,and didn't have sheets with us.

when we arrived we excepted a pool as these were in the photos and a hot tub we choose a room with a bath but had a shower and they moved us the next day but the bath tap didn’t turn on. at this point we didn’t even want to mention as we wanted to make good of what was left of our holiday. tit but did when we left. both rooms were very dusty and the second one smelt of strong cigarette smoke that we could clear. the bathroom also had a large patch of black mould. I don’t recommend this place but the lady at the desk was very helpful with the limited resources. when booking in the person in front was also disappointed that the pool and hot tub were closed. this property should not have been opened for the season.

The house was great. Clean and we'll laid out. Children thoroughly enjoyed the pool and play areas.

Didn't like the extensive rules and additional/extra cost warnings. Very intimidating and put parents and children on edge. The house would have benefited from sink in upstairs toilet and a toilet in the bathroom

Unclean and run down Children’s facilities were in poor condition - play park was broken and unsafe. Table tennis table was warped and did not have a net. Bouncy castle was never inflated. The breakfast was unsatisfactory. No milk. No gluten free options. Staff removed food from the used trays and put it straight back on to the buffet This place is not as it appears in the photos. It has not been well maintained and is over priced. Do not stay here.

Great value for money

Swimming pool was not working and property notified about it with very short notice - so re-booking was not possible. No discounts/compensation had been offered, eventhough we've chosen this place because of the swimming pool

Excellent accomodation in a great area. Will return!

The location was great. You do need a car but vills sur mer is easily in walking distance. All the surround towns are great. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. There was lots of useful stuff provided such as a filter coffee machine which we used extensively.

Honestly the only real problem was there was no mop provided and so cleaning the floors was quite difficult and very much needed as it was an outdoors place

Not really clean - table and chairs outside dirty, lots of spider webs, limescale all over in kitchen and toilet. In general obvious that whole place would need to be renovated No sink in toilet - obviously meant that you wash your hands in kitchen sink or go upstairs to bathroom Eventhough it was communicated before the stay - but it is strange to me that you need to put sheets and linen on pillows and duvets by yourself when you come, as well take them off when you leave. Poor connection to other towns (we needed to call 6-7 taxi services to finally find a transport), especially at night

Mauvais souvenir malgré le temps magnifique

On m’a prélevé 20 Euros sur ma caution sous prétexte que je n’ai pas rapporté mes draps à la réception …Quoi? Le ménage était compris dans mon séjour et en plus au moment de partir un jeun homme de la réception s’est présenté et m’a bien confirmé que je pouvais partir et il n’y avait rien à faire d’autre que la vaisselle et poubelle qu’on n’a pas utilisé d’ailleurs . En plus nul part ailleurs je n’ai jamais vu les clients trimbaler leur draps jusqu’à la réception Ils font exprès pour gratter sur la caution , je ne vois pas d’autre explication

1 nuit ça va mais pas plus longtemps..

L’emplacement que j’ai apprécié et le cadre. La piscine était bien sympa malgré un manque de propreté sur les côtés mais c’était correct.

L’odeur atroce dans le logement, la propreté pas du tout exceptionnelle. Toute la vaisselle sortie et posée sur la table à l’arrivée je comprends le principe mais ça n’est pas accueillant du tout.

Les renseignements sur Booking ne sont pas à jour : horaire d'arrivée et utilisation de la piscine... De plus, confirmations téléphoniques impossibles car par manque de personnel : le centre de vacances ne répondait pas à nos appels !

maison confortable, très bien située et donnant sur un grand espace vert. Pas de bruit et proche de toutes les commodités. Piscine super , chauffée, couverte et accessible toute la journée. Personnel accueillant, serviable et professionnel. Nos petits enfants ont adoré et nous aussi. Nous reviendrons !

J’étais venu pour passer un séjour en famille agréable, mais la découverte de cafards dans la cuisine a été choquante et inquiétante. Cela a profondément affecté notre sentiment de confort et de sécurité dans le logement. J’espère sincèrement que des actions sérieuses et rapides seront entreprises pour que d’autres voyageurs n’aient pas à vivre cette expérience décevante.

Het zou een hele mooie accommodatie kunnen zijn, met wat meer onderhoud.

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk.

Bij deze accommodatie zijn huisdieren toegestaan. Daar heb ik in principe geen last van, maar gebruik dan een aantal kamers voor bezoekers met honden en gebruik de rest voor mensen zonder hond. Slapen op een slaapbank waar de hondenharen nog op liggen is niet oké. Verder veel vlekken op de muur waar, naar mijn idee, muggen kapot geslagen zijn. Bedlinnen was gewassen, dit was duidelijk op te merken, echter nog erg veel vlekken in de lakens. Eettafel heeft z'n beste tijd gehad, is overal aan het afbladderen. Pannen, borden en bestek stonden op tafel, daar is blijkbaar niet voldoende opbergruimte voor in de kasten. Maar wel fijn dat het er dan toch is 😅. Alleen jammer dat je het steeds ergens aan de kant moet zetten om plaats te maken. Bij aankomst hebben we lang voor de poort gestaan (met nog meer andere bezoekers), omdat het onduidelijk is hoe je binnen komt. Later bleek dat je dicht naar de poort toe moet rijden zodat hij vanzelf opent. Dit staat nergens aangegeven, ook niet in communicatie vooraf. Communicatie vooraf (via mail & booking.com) was uitsluitend in het Frans, wat wij zelf niet spreken. We waren alleen op doorreis, met een extra overnachting om de D-day stranden te bezoeken. Dus om alleen te slapen en te douchen was de accommodatie wel oké vwb verhouding prijs/ kwaliteit.

Très Agréablement surpris et ravi de revoir la piscine ouverte après des années de fermeture ! très bien d'avoir remplacée la banquette lit et d'avoir remplacé des éléments de vaisselle ! toujours bien calme et bien situé dans cette belle région du Calvados !
