Amazing hostel, quiet, clean, excellent position.

This place is only just ok but definitely doesn’t deserve a rating like that on booking

The location.

2 major things that I don’t think other people are ok with - AC is NOT on during the day, and women’s bathroom facilities are absolutely terrible, shower head is either broken or leaking water, toilet seems clean but somehow stinks too. Another concern is hygiene. The duvet does not have a cover and stinks, which makes me seriously question how it is cleaned between guests. Is it actually washed after every stay, or simply folded back to look new? I also couldn’t fully close the curtains, but maybe I was just unlucky. While there was only one other girl in the room at the time, it’s still not ideal. I consider myself very adaptable when it comes to accommodation, but I only managed to stay one night here out of 3 nights booked, and it was a horrible experience. As for the location, yes, you can see a beautiful sunset from the room. However, Ao Nang Beach itself isn’t that impressive, and the truly beautiful beaches require taking a boat elsewhere anyway. Overall, I do not recommend this place, and I think there’s a reason why only 2 out of 8 beds were occupied during my stay.

The hostel is close to all activities on Ao NAng beach. The room was quiet and the bed were comfy (minus the noise of the plastic underneath the sheets)

I had a shared room and no locker as they had 6 lockers for 8 beds. Also the toilets were really smelly all the time.

It's clean and in a good location. The 7/11 next door is really good for anything you need. The view from the female room is nice.

The staff isn't friendly, and the hostel doesn't have a vibe for meeting other travelers. Nobody is at the reception, and the lockers are tiny. The rooms are dark. The air conditioner was very cold, and when I asked to turn it down, they refused. I spent 3 nights coughing and sleeping poorly. It wasn't just me.

Great location and clean

The hostel is located at a great location - beach is right opposite to the hostel, eateries and 7/11 are right next door. Staff is helpful, they booked my bus ticket for Phuket and also guided me to book day trips. The cleanliness is 10/10, i saw them cleaning in the morning and they are very thorough with the process. There is a cafe downstairs. Room is spacious and has a balcony too.

The bedding has a lining which makes a bit of sound which can be uncomfortable for some. It was not a big deal for me.

Just here one night before heading to Railay. Good location close to restaurants beach boat trips market. Amazing dorm, super clean and modern, comfy bed with curtains. That's a cute little hostel with friendly staff and good atmosphere eventhough it felt quite empty when I was here. The coffee downstairs looks quite good as well

Close to everything you need - night market, long tail boats, restaurants etc. owner very friendly and helpful. Good price for what you get.

Our room didn’t have a window which we didn’t know about when booking, but it wasn’t too bad just meant we slept in later than desired. Not much natural opportunity for meeting other travellers as there’s not really a common area.

Good independent room in an Hostel, very conveniently located in Aonang just a short walk from the Aonang Landmark Night Market. Staff very helpful even when I got locked outside the room. Good facilities. Good AC in the room. Right next to 7 eleven which is great and not noisy.

Perfect clean and calm hostel in Ao Nang

Extremely clean, friendly and accomodating staff who stayed up to help with a late check-out. It's a calm hostel - not a party vibe - which is exactly what I wanted. Comfy beds, hot showers, great location - 2 min walk to the beach and night market. Next door to a 7-11.

No breakfast but made up for with a cute little cafe downstairs that you can bring your food to (if you're a guest).

Location was pretty good

Unfortunately the front desk person really made it a bad experience for me. I was travelling day-to-day. When I went to ask about staying another day, she was made it really difficult so I just booked it online instead. Then the next day when I went to pay, she seemed very mad at me because the online booking was cheaper. She kept demanding to see my booking before she'd accept my payment which I already had pulled up in front of her. She demanded again and again and all I could say was "please look at the booking I am holding on my phone in front of your face". She speaks English well (so that was good at least) but there was also zero chance of confusion being the cause. She then pushed REALLY hard for me to stay 5+ days instead of one. Pushed for it over 10 times despite my polite refusals. She would pull up the schedule and say look how long this guy is staying. You will stay this long? And I would say I don't know how long: I will find out more tomorrow. Cue this 10+ more times with slightly different phrasing. Truly terrible service. Also they only turn on the AC in the evening and even then just barely. There were posted AC hours in the dorm but they would turn it on late and turn it off early (and keep the remote). We were all hot and requests to improve the situation seemed to be ignored. Very unfortunate overall ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Comfortable beds and the toilets were clean. They have hair dryer and give out free water. The location is a little bit far from Ao Nang Beach but it’s actually not so bad of a walk.

A comfortable stay!

I was afraid I missed out on seeing it's a "hostel" (since I was looking for a good stay for my parents and my sister and I) but doesn't matter, LOVED the staff, cleanliness and the private rooms which were just as the pictures showed 'em. The sea view balcony room for my parents was just lovely and though my room had no windows, it was a comfortable stay. Ning is the best. She helped as much as she could and the cafe downstairs is also almost perfect.

The water in the bathroom on the last day shut off (but they said it was because of the road work), otherwise everything worked perfectly. Don't really have a complaint!
