Nice location, lack of staff does not help

The location is nice. The hotel is built well. The rooms are big enough.

There was only one person doing everything at the hotel. This made the check-in process not so nice. We missed a lot of info at the time. Breakfast was also just ok, mostly sweet stuff again because it was the same person in the kitchen who was managing the whole place.

Good hotel

Nice hotel, good value for the money. Nice breakfast. Parking area in front of the hotel. Close to hiking paths and walking distance from downtown.

All rooms and breakfast room are sober. The outside looks like a castle, but the inside is easy to clean en has barely any decorations.

Great family hotel, loved it!

Great hotel! The breakfast included was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, really making me feel at home. Plus, having free parking was a nice bonus. The location is perfect too—close to the city center yet in a quiet area, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy and enjoyable stay!

Just a great little hotel near the shores of the Rhine

Warm welcome. Quiet hamlet. Lovely breakfast. Clean rooms. Plenty of parking. Great location for walking to the restaurants on the Rhine River bank. Great base for exploring the area.

The restaurant area was pleasant,sadly no restaurant! Breakfast was adequate

Having to pay in advance, not being asked if we would like some refreshments. On returning from having dinner to find the place in darkness the bar area locked, nobody around to see if we required anything . Sadly a non hotel. Resembles Fawlty Towers but at least you could get a drink there.

Very friendly staff, excellent location a quiet neighbourhood and still close enough to the center and restaurants. They have the option os storing bikes at a locked location which is great for bike travellers.

Charming stay in the hills of Boppard

Helpful English speaking staff. Allowed us to leave our luggage in a secure place while we toured the area before check in time. Very peaceful and place and staff was great. Breakfast was excellent.

We walked from the train station to this place with luggage and it was a distance up hill.

Nice hotel in a quiet street.

Hotel that seems to be run by several young staff. Good breakfast. Very attentive staff - we wanted to watch the rugby world cup game on tv, but couldn't get it in our room, but the young girl found it on the tv in the breakfast room and we wanted it there with a couple of beers. Probably about a 20 min. walk into the town - good for walking off the drink/food. Would easily stay there again.

Great for stay on the Rhine - don’t get room 17 though.

The breakfast was amazing, a lovely surprise. The bed was comfortable and shower was good.

Room 17, right beside the front door and stairs but I suppose someone has to stay there. It was noisy but when everyone was in bed no problems. That is the only reason for 8/10 otherwise it would have been a perfect 10.

Superb

Great hotel, lovely location, excellent proprietor who allowed us to park our motorcycles securely locked away at the rear of the hotel. The place had a very relaxing atmosphere about it.

I chose this on price. I should have paid more to stay closer to the centre.

Breakfast was great. Hotel owner very friendly. Good location for Vierblick.

Room dingy. You have to ask for it to be made up each day. Towels are really old and thin. Not many electric sockets. One socket directly under wall-safe so you have to be careful not to bang your head on it.

Location and breakfast good. Also free parking on site. Friendly owner/host. Nice beer house with garden nearby. Short easy 10 minute walk into town.

Nothing really, though would be a bonus to have tea and coffee facility in room. Although a bottle of water was provided!

The staffs are very friendly. The bedspread and blankets are very clean. Excellent breakfast.

The room is very small. Especially the bathroom is super small. It was even hard to use the washbasin.

Alles prima en netjes, maar alleen meer aandacht gegeven worden aan basis hygiëne.

Locatie, rustig, ontbijt, en vriendelijk personeel.

Parkeren is niet altijd mogelijk, je krijgt maar 1 set handdoeken voor je verblijf. Ze geven dus niet dagelijks nieuwe schone handdoeken.

Bis auf das fehlende Frühstück am ersten Morgen war alles in bester Ordnung

Das Frühstück am zweiten Tag war sehr gut.

Am ersten Tag konnten wir kein Frühstück zu uns nehmen, da der Frühstücksraum noch geschlossen war - niemand war bis 8.30 Uhr erreichbar. Dann mußten wir ohne Frühstück zu unserer Wanderung auf dem Rheinburgenweg (Tagestour) aufbrechen -schade. Das war ein sehr schlechter Start in den Tag.

Tolles Hotel zum Entspannen! Sehr gemütlich mit familiärer Atmosphäre, alles sauber und ruhig. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist ideal, in der Nähe des Flusses und des Zentrums. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Ich war während des Weinfestes dort – es war wunderbar!

Leuk historisch hotel, lekker ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel.

De verwarming stond nog niet aan (eind september), daarmee was het koud op de kamers.

Gute Lage, nettes Personal!

Frühstück eher unterdurchschnittlich, Filterkaffee war nicht so lecker, kein Cappuccino, Aufbackbrötchen, Obstsalat aus der Dose, Müsli vom Discounter. Es gab zu wenig Parkplätze und die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber.

Ich würde hier sofort wieder buchen!

Schöne ruhige Lage, sehr freundliches und sehr aufmerksames Personal. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Frühstück einfach nur klasse! Das würde ich mir auch in 4* Sterne Hotels wünschen. Sehr leckere und vielfältige Auswahl und es wurde auch immer wieder sehr schnell nachgefüllt.

Mooie locatie op wandelafstand van het centrum. Kamer voldeed aan de verwachtingen: proper, goede matras, direct warm water in de de douche. Ontbijt was ook in orde: broodjes, charcuterie, roerei, yoghurt en toebehoren, zoetigheden, fruit,.... keuze genoeg.

Voor 1 nacht verbleven, niets echt om op te merken.

Uitgebreid ontbijt, gunstige ligging op loopafstand van de boulevard en centrum.

Badkamer erg krap, kon niet recht op wc zitten. Douchen was prima.

Geen restaurant in hotel en toch 1,4 km te voet naar Boppard.

De prijs. Ontbijt was boven verwachting. Eigenaar was uiterst gastvrij en vriendelijk.

Niets eigenlijk. Het is wat je kunt verwachten voor deze prijs. Het hotel doet niets echt slecht, maar ook niets bovengemiddeld goed. Het is gewoon prima voor een nachtje.
