It was an incredible stay

Room is spacious, comfortable, clean. Buffet breakfast was great. Location is just walking distance from main train station. Great Staff.

Really nice home-base for Cologne sight-seeing

No doubt about it: this is a quirky hotel, and feels a bit like sleeping in a former Catholic seminary (perhaps it is?). However, it offers exceptional value for this location in Cologne. The room was huge, with lots of windows, and very comfortable beds. Breakfast in particular exceeded my expectations--the buffet is huge, with great quality and selection. Oh--and a wonderful drinking water machine in the lobby provides cool water (both sparkling and flat) at any time--a very nice touch!

The lighting in the rooms should really be rethought. A bright light in the entry way is on a motion-censor trigger. If someone in the room gets up to use the bathroom at night, you will probably be woken up too, when this light is inevitably triggered.

Enjoyed our stay at this quirky hotel- room small and basic but clean and comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and happy to speak in English Very good location for getting around.

The car park was €20 per night which was steep for a hotel car park .

An R.C. convention centre, limited amount of hotel accommodation, close to town, v.g. breakfast

excellent breakfast . Rooms excellently furnished, decorated and lit. Uncarpeted Room 75 has over-the -rooftops view of cathedral and a small balcony. carpeted room 74 has view over adjacent park. Walking distance from Centre of town. Some helpful staff.

No English-speaking channel on TV Lack of local knowledge e.g. restaurants. Maternhaus restaurant was closed for the two evenings we were there.

Best price/quality accommodation in Cologne

Perfect location, very nice and friendly personal. I really enjoyed their bedding it was nor too soft nor too hard. 👍 We recommend and will definitively return.

The reception staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast was great with plenty of choice. The location was also great, walking distance to the town.

No kettle in the room and the tv was German channels (which was expected but thought we might be able to connect our phones or log into Netflix)

Even better than expected!

The quietness,the location,the staff members,the peculiar spitirual vibe eventhough i m not a Christian but i liked the christian atmosphere. The breakfast ,so much food!!!! I got the chance to get a promotionnal offer and it was great value for money!!!!

Late check-in at 3pm but i was gently allowed to check-in earlier since my room was cleaned up.

Great position in Cologne

Position was great, close to the centre and the main station. Rooms were clean and tidy with air conditioning. Breakfast was amazing, filled us for the day and the coffee was pretty good!

WiFi was pretty poor, off or very slow most of the time. Room was very basic with no tea or coffee making facilities.

Great place to stay

It was in a good location , , clean with everything uoi need including parking. Reception Staff were friendly . Good breakfast too however staff not so friendly there.

There was a little Robles with our room door , an alarm kept going off at night not if it was a battery fault . It did stop when we opened the door but happened several time the 2 nights we stayed. We have stayed before and didn't happen then.

More than decent accommodation, rich breakfast, able to satisfy all requirements. Central location, about 500 m from the Cologne Cathedral and the old center. Own parking, for a fee, was a bonus.
