A wonderful stay
A large apartment rught in the centre of the village with a full kitchen and access to a washing machine. A large balcony gets the sun all day and there are wonderful mountsin views.
The bed mattress was slightly too soft for my liking, but I am being really picky to say this. I can't really fault anything.

Weather not good but the apartment served its purpose for a extended family vacation
The apartment had basic facilities but limited on the Airbnb English status.
The food in their restaurant below and staff who served us through out the week
The customer noise from the bar undercroft located below our apartment through out the evening and early morning hours.

Misleading advertising and rude customer service personnel
Nicely decorated, modern and stylish
We had our biggest disappointment shock when the front desk lady pointed out that our apartment does not have access from the main lobby, but it’s actually around the corner of the building, with access from outside, in front of the parking lot. In addition to that, we discovered that our apartment was in the basement of the building, with the windows at the level of the street. The view offered by these windows were nothing else but the wheels of the passing cars. No view, no sun ever! Obviously, the apartment was nothing like the apartments depicted on the website…When we explained to the hosts that the pictures showed on the Booking site were totally misleading, they replied abruptly that we should go an argue about that with Booking.com.
Poor sleeping conditions, uncomfortable mattresses, big dust bunnies under the bed, no cleaning suplies, no garbage bags. The apartment does not have in-floor heating as advertised on Booking.com. You can see the heating elements under the windows in the attached pictures.
Kristall Plaza is indeed located at the base of the Niederau ski slope but I wouldn’t consider that as a big advantage since the slope is mediocre to say the least, and quite expensive for what it offers. If you are into decent skiing, you’ll have to go to the Auffach ski piste, a few kilometers away.
I recommend the owners to update the advertisement of this apartment to clearly identify all the relevant differences from your typical apartments or to specifically show pictures of this particular apartment. This is the only way you will avoid customer frustrations in the future.
Important lesson: If Kristall Plaza advertises an apartment on Booking.com and if they don’t specifically mention “view” or “balcony”, then it’s very likely that the apartment is in the basement!! In conclusion, had we known from the beginning that our apartment is in the basement of the building and had we known how these people treat their customers, we would’ve looked elsewhere.
