Dragonfly Guesthouse M'Pai Bay

Tasha the owner was so welcoming and helpful. She mad sure we were happy and comfortable throughout our stay and gave us the best recommendations. She helped put me in touch with a dive instructor as it was quiet season and a lot of the dive shops were closed. The place is so lovely to stay in, so clean and comfy beds. The bar area on the cliff side was gorgeous, you can sit and watch the sunset there every night which we thoroughly enjoyed! Would 100% recommend and would love to come back some day 😊

Good location. Bar across the dirt road. M'Pai Bai had a very laid back vibe and a good beach

Quite basic.

Clean Bathrooms. Nice view from the bar/lounging area and there are some nice places around to eat. But overall too much of a "poor hippy" vibe for me.

The accommodation is very basic, fan, cold showers and overpriced $30US for 2 single beds in a very basic room.. This place has seen better days and in my view is in need of a re-vamp. Its old, tired, furnishings and fabrics are old, garden area not very well taken care of, but that seems to be the M'pai bay way. Beach Sand is dirty, you need to walk 10 min to a decent beach. I would not return to M'pai Bay. We had a day at Sunset Beach which is stunning and clean.
