About this cottage rental

A traditional French Gite fully equipped for all your needs situated in rural countryside. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen/ living area comprising of a modern fully equipped fitted kitchen. Dining table to seat 5 people. In the living area are 2 sofas , one of which converts to a double bed, a coffee table, sideboard and TV showing both French and English TV. The bathroom is situated down stairs with a walk in shower, hand basin and toilet. Also on the ground floor is a double room with a kingsize bed, double wardrobe, dressing table and bedside cabinets. Up stairs ( not suitable for disabled or limited mobility is an open plan area with 2 single beds, hanging rail and chest of drawers. There is a stair gate fitted at the top of the stairs. A babies cot and high chair are available on request. New for 2018 an outdoor swimming pool with large sunbathing deck (shared with another Gite that accomodates upto 3 people) to go with the quite tranquil views and our own woods.

Nous venons de passer une semaine dans ce charmant cottage. Nous avons reçu accueil plus que chaleureux, la propriétaire Lisa est adorable ! Le gîte est petit mais vraiment charmant, la piscine est le jardin sont très appréciables. Belle adresse à retenir pour des prochaines vacances.

Séjour d'une semaine en famille avec nos deux grands fils. Le gîte est confortable et mignon. L'hôtesse est très accueillante et à l'écoute (le percolateur défaillant a été vite remplacé). Des petites attentions d'arrivée très délicates. Piscine agréable et jardin arboré. Le seul petit bémol, c'est qu'il n'y a pas de portes entre les pièces (ce sont des tentures) , du coup, au niveau intimité, on est un peu comme en tente. Une caresse à Lily et Frankie!

Ce petit nid douillet serti dans un superbe écrin de verdure a été parfait pour nous trois jours passés en Vienne. Le Lodge est bien équipé et plein de charme, le terrain pour les promenades, aussi spacieux qu'agréable (parfait pour les chiens joueurs). Les alentours m'ont permis de bien m'employer sur le vélo de route. Nous reviendrons. Merci Lisa

Le gîte est accueillant, parfaitement équipé, rien ne nous a manqué. Merci Lisa. Nous avons été agréablement surpris de tout trouver à disposition, notamment en cuisine pour préparer de bons petits plats. C'est appréciable, un vrai plus. Le jardin est grand, nos jeunes enfants y allaient et profitaient de l'espace, de la balançoire. La piscine est agréable, sécurisée pour les tous petits. Enfin, le confort du gîte nous a parfaitement satisfait. Le petit plus était là, bonifié avec le côté "cosy" so british. Pas de critique à formuler, bien au contraire. De plus, Lisa est charmante.

Nous avons séjourné à 4, la maison est cosy et très tres calme. Elle est bien équipée il n'y a plus qu'à poser les pieds. Même s'il s'agit d'un gite on a l'impression d'etre en maison individuelle. Le rapport qualité prix est imbattable par rapport aux prestations proposées. Je recommande vivement pour un dépaysement total, le terrain est magnifique. I will be back, thank you so much Lisa!

Walnut Lodge a été un gîte merveilleux pour notre week-end et de d’avoir rencontrer Lisa et Bryan a été une grande chance . Ils sont adorables . Leur gentillesse et leur générosité nous ont comblés nous et nos 3 enfants. Un gite où il ne manque absolument rien . Mon fiston avait plier sa chemise pour le mariage en boule dans sa valise et après une sueur froide, miracle: il y a même un fer à repasser!!!! Un grand merci à Lisa et Bryan qui nous ont fait partager leur havre de paix, leur piscine et leur beau jardin . Un vrai moment de détente et de relâchement et un accueil parfait . Une petite maison « so pretty » décorée avec goût et romantisme . Literie impeccable . Le petit plus ; on se croirait dans une petite principauté de l’Angleterre car ici on parle anglais et ça fait du bien . Nous reviendrons Merci encore
