About this villa rental

No. 2 Porters Court, Hibivillea, is a charming holiday villa perfect for families or couples, set on Barbados’ highly sought‑after and exclusive West Coast. Ideally located in the parish of St. James, just north of Holetown, the villa sits within walking distance of the Fairmont Royal Pavilion hotel.

Our traditionally styled Bajan villa is one of only eight homes in Porters Court, a secure, gated private development. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, Hibivillea offers its own private rear terrace with sun deck—an exclusive feature that sets it apart. Guests also enjoy access to a communal swimming pool, complete with sun loungers and shaded umbrellas.

The magnificent white‑sand beaches of the West Coast are just a short stroll away—perfect for sunset walks and a cocktail by the sea. A wide selection of restaurants, shops, and hotel beach facilities are all within walking distance or a short drive (or bus ride) along the scenic coastal road. Bus stops are conveniently located a short walk away, by the Fairmont Royal Pavilion hotel.

Built in the traditional chattel‑house style, Hibivillea features hardwood floors, high pickled‑pine ceilings, and coral lighting. The villa is family‑friendly, offering everything you need to feel at home: Wi‑Fi, IPTV with Canadian, US and UK channels such as Sky and BT Sports, and a selection of books.

The property includes two spacious, air‑conditioned bedrooms,one of the king beds can be split into two twin beds, if preferred. The other king bed cannot be split. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom, one with a shower and one with a bath tub. Both rooms open directly onto the private rear terrace. The open‑plan lounge (also air conditioned) and dining area flow through double doors onto a covered patio furnished with a table, chairs. When the front and back doors are open, the villa enjoys a wonderfully refreshing cross‑breeze. A fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, blender, k-pod type coffee maker, toaster, microwave, kettle and fridge with freezer. There is a small Weber propane BBQ on the porch. Four backpack style folding beach chairs with two attachable umbrellas and cooler boxes are available to take to the beach. As of February 2026, we have been added to a wait list for passes to the Fairmont Beach Club, but loungers/umbrellas can be rented on the beach from various vendors. Nauti HQ beach restaurant offers loungers/umbrella with a credit back for use at their bar/restaurant.

Prior to arrival, you will be provided with a secure lockbox code for self‑check‑in. If not present on arrival, our property manager, Jeanine, or a member of her team at Sunset Dreams, will call or visit the following day and will be on-call for the duration of your stay. Porters Court offers secure electronic gates at the main entrance, and beach access is available through a coded rear gate.

Grantley Adams International Airport is 21 km away (approximately 45 minutes with traffic). Airport transfers (with payment made directly to the driver) and groceries can be pre‑arranged for your arrival as well as many other concierge services offered by Sunset Dreams (for a fee).

We have rented this quaint villa several times and always feel really at home there. It’s location is absolutely perfect ! A minute walk to a bus stop and only a five minute walk to Alleynes Bay beach. On this gorgeous beach you can find several beach bars including jujus and the wonderful Lone Star Restaurant. There are sunbeds to hire and water sports facilities, including waterskiing and inflatable rides. As for the development of Porters Court, it’s very peaceful with beautiful tropical gardens. There are just 8 cottages with a lovely, good sized communal pool. Number 2 is one of the larger properties and the only one with a large decked area to the rear of the property which can be accessed by both back doors. Both bedrooms are of a good size and both are en-suite. There’s plenty of bedding and bath and beach towels. The kitchen is large and has all the equipment that is needed, including a dishwasher and cool boxes to take your beers down to the beach. The house has both ceiling fans and AC. The lounge in airy and light with excellent WiFi and sky TV. Our favourite part of the property is the wrap around veranda with table and chairs to eat at and hammock to laze on. The property owner and manager and both great to deal with and reply to questions quickly. To sum up a lovely relaxing property in a beautiful lush location close to all amenities of near by Holetown. We look forward to visiting again on the 20th Dec this year for Xmas. Louise and Family
