Beautiful, mostly quiet, lush family-friendly complex. Choose your lodge wisely.

Absolutely wonderful location on a stunning beach, bay, lush grounds - just fabulous. The multiple restaurants were good if a little over-priced; supermarket was more reasonable. Most of the time the complex was quiet and peaceful; very family friendly, mostly German when we were there. The Prairies de la Mer complex is divided up between multiple camping agencies, each of which had slightly different "lodges" or caravans, with varying degrees of luxury, design and location. We knew of course that closest to the sea would be most expensive, and out of our price range. But if I were to go back, I think I would opt for slightly "better" lodges. We didn't realise the range of difference there would be. That said, our lodge was well-equipped and we really appreciated the lovely vegetation and landscaping around it.

Our lodge backed onto the main 'road' entering the complex and was very noisy at night, particularly on Friday night, as car doors slammed and engines revved right beside our heads. Noise insulation is non-existent; you could hear everything. Bed was saggy and not comfortable foam. The "Kids Club" required a parent with the child at all times, which kinda defeats the point. Overall, we would go back to Prairies de la Mer, just we would choose a better quality and location of lodge.

The flexibility with the check in arrangement! The special attention to the request for location outside noisy area! Overall value of the mobile home! Good staff.

Mobile home needs some maintenance, the doors lock to the outside are not aligned meaning they wont lock on the open position. The mobile home was not balanced (maybe one of the supports was off) meaning it was shaking and one window was stuck since the mobile was kind of "crocked" - Easy fixes, but need to be done.

Bungalow à l’ombre sans trop de lumière trop de proximité avec les gens la route à côté l enfer de jour comme de nuit trop bruyant on a pu être sur le terrasse et les moustiques la piscine trop de monde et de cris pour une fin septembre
