Agriturismo Madonna Incoronata

Appartamento abbastanza confortevole, immerso in una zona di campagna piena di ulivi secolari, curata, silenziosa e tranquilla, ma a pochi minuti di auto da Mattinata. Al piano terra è presente una cucina-sala da pranzo con tavolo e divano letto, piccola ma comunque dotata di tutto l'essenziale; nella parte alta si trova il letto matrimoniale. La casa era molto fresca anche senza accendere l'aria condizionata.

Il bagno, che si trova al piano terra, è datato e ha sicuramente bisogno di una rinfrescata. La doccia è piccola, la scatola sifonata a pavimento aperta non è una bella soluzione e spesso emanava cattivo odore. La notte non era molto comodo scendere le scale per raggiungere il bagno.

This place is just amazing. You are among pine trees, can hear only sounds of nature, great view from our terrace, super peaceful and beautiful. The property is huge, you can have walks around olive trees, orange and other trees, to listen to sounds of different insects, to see the chickens that also leave at the end of the property. Even though there is air-conditioning available but the house does not need it, the walls are so thick that even in 30 degree heat is was always fresh inside. Location is perfect, only 2 min drive (or 15 min walk) to Mattinata or 10 min drive to the most amazing beaches. I just love this area. There is also a good supermarket nearby, a bakery and restaurants. You will need a car here.

Die Lage der alten Ölmühle mitten im Olivenhain. Während unseres Besuches hatten wir keine direkten Nachbarn, was den Aufenthalt noch besonderer machte. Antonio kümmerte sich sofort um eine kleine Reparatur am Fenster und besorgte auf unseren Wunsch ein Schneidebrett aus der Küche. Zudem versorgte er uns mit nützlichen Tipps per WhatsApp.

Nichts, allenfalls den Aufstieg zur Unterkunft aus dem Ort, der durchaus machbar ist, allerdings in der Mittagshitze im Sommer beschwerlich werden kann, so dass man auf ein Auto zurückgreifen muss. Durch die tolle Umgebung wird man jedoch vollends entschädigt.

Musty smell in the suite and black mold in the shower. The sofa / bed was damp when we got there. We stripped it and air dried the covers in the sun. The hot water disappeared on the second night. The host was not particularly welcoming or informative about his property.
