Like a dream! We adored this hotel. It was absolutely stunning, and convenient to Bordeaux and wineries. We loved the pool, the breakfast (sit on the terrace), the coffee machine, and the wine machine (dangerous!). We sat in the lounge and on the terrace in the evenings with a glass of wine and a book. We also used the free bikes to explore the gorgeously landscaped property. It felt like we had the chateau to ourselves most of the time. We joked that we lived there, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave.

It was gorgeous - felt like we were in a fairy tale.
It was further out, which we expected. But we didn’t realize taking the boat into Bordeaux would be so expensive and we had trouble getting Ubers to come out to pick us up.

Breakfast was very good especially given that they do not have a restaurant. Beds were comfortable. Location is superb.
Rats in the fireplace, albeit behind a solid fire guard, but their constant scratching was worrisome. Minute ants invaded the bedroom and WC. I got nipped by one ant at night in bed. Serving high quality wines out of a vending machine is seriously off-putting.
