Excellent breakfast and comfortable beds!

Parking was confusing- the lot we were referred to had tow signs and we weren't sure how/where to park. The room was large and well appointed, but up 2 very steep flights of stairs without elevator

Clean, quiet, beautiful design, excellent customer service, access to communal kitchen and living room, amazing breakfast, free public parking nearby.

Volubilis Guesthouse is located on a quiet street on the edge of Chartrons neighbourhood. The C tram stop is just a short walk away. There are some nice restaurants nearby (Zinc, La Mirabelle, Luzine Cuisine). Check-in was simple and easy to follow and we could leave our bags when we arrived early.

We stayed in Magna - room 5. The room is large and spacious, however it is adjacent to the communal kitchen/lounge space so you are affected by anyone using that area - including staff setting up for breakfast/other guests using the space. As a consequence there is noise disturbance. The outdoor area for Room 5 was unusable during our stay due to the high temperatures. The area is a wooden (sauna-like) enclosure with no free-flowing air due to the glass roof (one tiny narrow window did not allow any airflow). It is linked to the communal outdoor space so there is no privacy. The air conditioning is a central unit, with one small vent in Magna room. Due to the ‘canicule’ and the large glass doors leading to the hot outdoor space the room didn’t really cool at all.
