What a charming holiday home! The wood stove added to the coziness, especially during chilly evenings, It was a great base for our excursions, and we found the local restaurant to be a hidden gem, The hosts were welcoming and made us feel right at home

Super mooie locatie zeer mooi compleet mooi verbouwde boerderij uit 1500, zeer schoon en een mooie omgeving. De eigenaar zelf maakt prachtige kunst en heeft prachtige schilderijen waar je vrij in de studio mag kijken .S morgens kun je lekker buiten ontbijten of aan een tafeltje of een prieeltje waar je gezellig kunt zitten tot laat in de avond er is zelfs verlichting bij. Er is alles wat men nodig heeft in huis.

Das Ferienhaus ist ideal für Familien, die Ruhe und Natur suchen und gleichzeit auf Ausflugsziele, Kultur und Infrastruktur in unmittelbarer Nähe nicht verzichten möchten. Das Haus ist ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen, gelungen restauriert und sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Direkt am Waldrand gelegen bietet es genügend Platz auf mehreren Etagen. Im großen, toll bepflanzten Garten findet man mehrere gemütliche und schöne Sitzecken, auch die Möglichkeit zum Grillen ist gegeben. Vom Ferienhaus aus erreicht man fußläufig das unweit gelegene Naturfreundehaus, ein sehr empfehlenswerter Ort zum Einkehren. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen nett, wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt.

Man teilt sich das Haus mit den Eigentümern, was aus der Hausbeschreibung nicht hinreichend deutlich wurde. Die Eigentümer sind jedoch diskret. Der Garten ist wunderschön und verfügt über viele Sitzplätze, die man benutzen kann. Das Haus ist innen ziemlich dunkel, weil die Wände dick und die Fenster klein sind. Es war sauber, die Betten in Ordnung, die Ausstattung der Küche ausreichend. Man hat sich viel Mühe mit durchaus ansprechender Dekoration gegeben. Manches ist jedoch veraltet, zum Teil die Badarmaturen und TV (RöhrenTV). WLAN funktioniert in der Regel. Am meisten fehlten uns eine bequeme Couch und/oder Sessel. Die Lage des Hauses über dem hübschen mittelalterlichen Städtchen Weißenburg ist sehr gut. Man kann von dort aus viel unternehmen.
