6 Lyme Mews

This is a lovely mews house right on the front at Seaton - not as popular as Beer, but a beach that is at least as good! Three double or twin bedrooms & three loos mean this property is plenty beg enough for 6. You could put another 2 in the downstairs small sitting room and still have the upstairs sitting room (wonderful views) and big kitchen for communal use. The beds were comfy and there were lots of towels and kitchen-ware. There were even beach seats and umbrellas. There is a garage and parking at the back. Although it's been let for several decades, there have been useful updates over the years - one bathroom is completely refurbished and the other has a new shower unit.

The only thing we didn’t like was the insertion of Sykes Cottages between us, Booking.com, and the owner. After being baffled by endless pro-forma emails from Sykes, I just ignored them!

The Double mattress was very uncomfortable . The 3 piece suite needs replacing , plus the 2 seater settee needs replacing ,as all furniture was very uncomfortable /
