Great location in the middle of the historic centre of Lucca. Charming and spacious room in a historic building. Very cool and stylish bathroom. We liked the fact that there is a kitchen (shared with the other guests) incl. fridge to store some food and shared laundry facilities.
The bed could be more comfortable, matrass was a little thin.

We loved our stay here. A sweet room with a lovely ensuite, warm and friendly staff with good communication, and a good shared kitchen with use of the washing machine. It was nice to chat to other guests over breakfast. The location was amazing, with everything only a few minutes walk from the front door.

Excellent location.
After a long journey I was told to message on arrival and someone would come in 3 minutes to check me in ...I waited 15 until someone arrived. No apologies offered. The air conditioning had not been put on in advance so the attic studio was hot enough to cook bread..I asked if there was a bottle of water for me in the fridge and was instructed, rather rudely, to drink from the tap. The portable air conditioning unit proved to be totally inadequate. In the shower there were 3 bottles of shower gel/shampoo, two of which were completely empty. After venturing to the nearby shop to buy supplies to stock the fridge I noticed a rather suspicion hair inside it. The refrigerator had not been cleaned for a long time. As someone involved in the hospitality industry I would advise that the property needs better management. In other words you need to up your game.
