Everything! Mike was the perfect host, friendly, welcoming and made us feel at home.
The room was beautiful with great views, excellent facilities and the roof terrace was wonderful to watch the sights of Knaresborough.

The owner was away when we arrived, but instructions, communication were excellent and very friendly.
The location of the residence PERFECT, on the road next to the river and it's shared balcony, excellent camera shutter chance of the bridge. Next to the bridge, next time to the river, easy walking distance to the castle and town.
No breakfast, but places to eat nearby recommended by the owner. We opted for hot sausage sarnies(sandwiches) from a nearby bakery, a short walk from the residence.
The residence itself, is very good, comfortable, well decorated, very clean and it had a cosy warm home feeling.
The owner also instructed us about nearby attractions and we visited Bingham rocks. A very nice walk around interesting rock formations, well worth a visit.

The room was fine, although a little small. We were disappointed and a little surprised that the 'private bathroom' was across the landing in a separate room. We had expected it to be en suite. So whilst the bathroom was really nice, we were a little uncomfortable having to cross the landing to get to it. In fairness though dressing gowns were provided.
The location was really good and we really enjoyed our walks around Knaresborough.
