Felt like home

Beautiful rural setting. If you are there for cycling, roads right from the B&B are heaven. Hosts could not have been nicer. Anna checked if I needed anything often and brought me medicine when she heard I had a cold. Yves should be a Flandrian tour guide! He loves the area and took me for two different drives just to show me the local villages and bought me a beer at a beautiful traditional Belgian pub. I was traveling alone so really appreciated that they looked after me so well. I had the single room (en-suite toilet) in the lodge which is a wonderful old converted farmhouse. You can hear the tenants in the other room as they are on the upper room but it was no bother. Also, you bath in a tub in the bedroom. It’s very quaint and there is a handheld so washing your hair isn’t an issue. Overall, I would compare my stay pro staying at a good friend’s house. I really enjoyed it…thanks Anna and Yves!

A very friendly welcome. Great communication, and very helpful. Modern, high quality and well maintained. Exceptionality clean. Great facilities (a lounge with a full sized bar for guests, and a kitchenette for taking breakfast or making sandwiches and tea or coffee). A very generous breakfast (extra). An extremely comfortable bed in a cozy double bed room with en-suite facilities. All the necessary modern fire safety precautions. Beautiful rural location, but not difficult to find and within easy reach of Gent and other tourist locations, it also felt very safe. Great off road parking. Very good value. The owners who live on site clearly take great pride in their property, and go out if their way to be helpful. Highly recommended!

I loved everything. However, access to the upstairs rooms may difficult for the elderly or frail, I believe there is also a downstairs room, so you should enquire when making a booking, if applicable.

Prima verblijf met paar minpuntjes

De locatie was prima, mooi gelegen op een rustige locatie. Perfekt bed en de kamer zag er schoon en verzorgd uit.

Je kan je eigen niet staande douchen, vooral lastig als je last hebt van je rug. Verkeerde indeling badkamer. Helaas geen klein tafeltje in de kamer aanwezig om aan te werken.

Het ontbijt was copieus en lekker. De b&b is rustig gelegen, de slaapkamer voldoet ruimschoots, er is parkeergelegenheid...Niets dan lof dus! De eigenares is supervriendelijk en attent.

Hoewel de ligging rustig en mooi is, leiden enkele smalle weggetjes ernaartoe.

Een leuke ervaring in een fantastische omgeving en herl lruke mensen.

Lekker ontbijt goed bed enig minpuntje voor ons was dat er geen douche was en geen stoel op de kamer, maar dat is persoolijk, doet niets af aan onze belejring, het was ook leuk om de bar te mogen gebruiken en daar waren oude spullen te zien uit ver vervlogen jaren, was leuk om dat nog eens te ervaren, omgeving fantastisch en rustig. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Fijn geslapen, heerlijk ontbijt, mooi gelegen locatie met schitterend uitzicht.

Heerlijk, uitgebreid ontbijt met alle zorg klaargezet door de gastvrouw. Een hele propere B&B op een mooie locatie met prachtig uitzicht. Kamers zijn ruim met heerlijke bedden. De B&B heeft zelfs een eigen bar waar je wat kan drinken.

Onze kamer had een ruime badkamer met ligbad en handdouche. Voor ons meer dan prima. Ben je wat minder mobiel dan goed om hier rekening mee te houden.

Fijn, komen graag terug als we weer op een beurs staan in de buurt

Rustige locatie in de Vlaamse Ardennen, propere kamer en leuk om nog eens een ligbad te hebben. Aangename verrassing waren de keukenfaciliteiten grenzend aan de kamer. Voor ons meerdaags zakenverblijf een meevaller dat we gewoon iets ter plekke konden opwarmen als avond eten. Privacy, b&b gedeelte in apart gebouw, met ook een bar ruimte ter beschikking. Keuze uit verschillende te nuttigen dranken. Leuk dat de ontbijtbroodjes in individuele zakjes kwamen, zo konden we het teveel als lunch meenemen. Vriendelijke gastvrouw. Verzorgde omgeving.

Misschien enkel voor meerdaags verblijf zoals het onze, dan had wat meer variatie in ontbijt welkom geweest, zoals bijv eens vers fruit of zo, of het eitje op een andere manier klaargemaakt dan enkel hard gekookt.

Ottimo, relax dopo lavoro

Posizione fantastica, in mezzo alla bellissima e tranquillissima campagna, gode di una pace e relax invidiabili. Camere accoglienti e pulite, due al piano superiore , entrambe con bagno privato, cucinotto in comune tra le due stanze, come in un aparthotel. Tutto super pulito e i proprietari sono gentilissimi. Ottimo, relax dopo lavoro e a solo 10 minuti di macchina da Waregem e alcuni ristoranti dove deliziare con ottimi filetti ma anche cozze al naturale con patatine. Centri sportivi, tennis, paddle, parchi e laghetti. Che dire, ci dovete venire.

De locatie

Wij moesten nog bijbetalen voor het ontbijt en alleen cash. Dit hebben we nog nooit meegemaakt. En het zogezegde artisanale ontbijt was pover en er werd geen rekening gehouden met diabeten.

Flexibele en vriendelijke mensen in een mooie omgeving.

We mochten al in de kamers voor we naar de trouw van onze vrienden gingen, dus dat maakte het voor ons wel zeer aangenaam! De ontvangst was vriendelijk, de kamers waren proper, het ontbijt was meer dan voldoende. We kregen ook een lift terug naar de trouwlocatie om onze auto op te halen, dus daar waren wij ook zeer blij mee.

Ik heb liever een douche dan een zeer groot bad. Fruit bij het ontbijt miste ik ook wel. Ik reserveerde via booking voor 5 personen en moest dan blijkbaar 3 kamers nemen. Ter plaatse bleek dat dit 3 2-persoonskamers waren met een dubbel bed, waarbij 1 kamer nog een extra bed had. In feite hadden we dus gemakkelijk 2 kamers ( 2 + 3-persoonskamer) kunnen nemen in plaats van 3 kamers, want wij waren hier met ons gezin.
