Great place to stay for a short break when its more about the visit than the hotel!

Room was comfortable and clean, breakfast had a choice but hot food you will need to cook yourself! Everything is there to do it! Great choice of Cereals, Bread etc

the bedding was a bit thin and basic, no tea coffee in the rooms, plenty of plugs and lights etc

New modern hotel with 3 saunas

Its a new hotel with large wellness area and good access to St Johann ski resort.

Cheap mattress, too soft. You have to cook eggs yourself for breakfast and the pans were of low quality (its hard not to burn the eggs).

Clean and modern place with a nice vibe!

Modern and clean hotel with a nice vibe. The breakfast was solid, the wellness area was great. The room was very utilitarian with plenty of space for cloths and lots of places to hang gear/clothes. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. Would recommend.

great facilities, close to town, buses and the slopes

a tad under staffed meant that the poor people on in the am were struggling to cope with the volume of people and tasks… felt for them!!

Perfect stay at modern hotel

Staff was very kind and helpful. Room was clean, modern and spacious. Perfect breakfast included, we were really satisfied. There is an underground garage, if is needed.

We had really soft bed with big hard pillow. We would appreciate some glasses or some cup at the bathroom.

Nice rooms, helpfull receptionists, decent sauna.

The only thing that spoiled the impression was the hygiene at breakfast. Lots of flies on the cheese and charcuterie trays ... I lost my appetite.

Good value for money. Simple but nice bedroom and clean bathroom. The bed was especially comfy. The staff was friendly and professional (with very good English). Free parking at the hotel was great. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety of food and I could fry my own bacon and egg, I really loved this.

Couldn't really fault the hotel itself, very modern and very clean.

We selected this particular hotel because it was next to a ski lift, however we discovered at check in that the lift next to the hotel was not operating due to lack of lift staff....but it was still being advertised in the hotel description at the time, even though it apparently hadn't been operating for some time. It was only about a 10 minute walk to another lift, and a bus was also available, however we felt that the hotel should have updated the description in the circumstances.

We’ve been in two other Explorer hotels before. So we know the concept, the house and the rooms. We like it due to the smart structure of the room and the very friendly staff. You can ask everything and it’s easy to get in touch. Furthermore we like the mindset for cooperate with the local restaurants, shops and other business. The opportunity for parking in the garage is convenient and also the room in the basement for drying ski equipment is very helpful.

perfect service and super friendly stuff, good breakfast with do-it-yourself omelette bar, well equipped and designed rooms, great location to different ski regions, sauna with beautiful view, parking garage
