Characterful little studio apartment near Roman walls

A lovely, quaint studio apartment with loads of character. All within touching distance of the Roman walls that are a feature of this side of Le Mans. Just walk out the door and you're immersed in history! Everything you could really need for a few days, kitchenette with sufficient equipment if needed. Close to main road but the noise wasn't excessive. Free parking available nearby.

Due to the electric sockets available in the studio there was only one light on one side of the bed. Not a deal breaker though.

Warm and friendly host, great location and cute.

The location was fantastic! The breakfast at 9 euros was pricey for minimal variety, but it was our choice to have it or not.

The bed was too small, not suitable for 2 people… The bedding was not crisp and clean, and smelled very musty. A crisp white duvet and other bed linens are needed. Perhaps a dehumidifier would help the musty smell in the apartment.

A wonderful studio apartment in the historic centre, cannot recommend too highly!

A real gem of a place! A chance, last minute booking, Laurent was there to greet us and accommodated an unexpected delay with great charm. A wonderful studio apartment on the ground floor of a historic building, full of original features, equiped to a high standard and decorated with taste and charm. Quiet, comfortable, with a view over the river and a very short distance to a good choice of restaurants and bars in the historic centre. I look forward to returning to spend longer another time.

Good place to stay for a few nights.

Very comfortable little appartement next to the old town. Stairway next to the studio brings you right to the old centre but it is also possible to walk around for a less steep entrance. Good beds and chairs, kitchenette and bathroom. Host is friendly and helpful.

in a word... excellent.

This was the first time we had stayed in an apartment and the experience was wonderful. The host was extremely welcoming and took time to explain all the amenities. Wifi, real coffee machine and a comfy bed, who needs more? The location is right in the heart of Le Mans, opposite the river and with great access to the Plantagenet part of the city which is spectacular. We shall certainly be staying here again. Highly recomended.

Comfy stay with a historic feel

This really was the best place we have booked in a while and is well worth the money. The place is right below the old town, in a historic building itself, and has a nice atmosphere inside as well. Check-in was easy too: even though we didn't quite know our arrival time the host was waiting and we were parked and checked-in right away!

Een aanrader voor wie de verrassende stad Le Mans wil bezoeken!

Ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar voldoende! Gastheer heel vriendelijk. Prachtige locatie in het historische deel van Le Mans.

Niets, het was perfect ! Ook een verblijf voor enkele dagen is in dit appartement goed te doen, kleine keuken met voorzieningen als magnetron, inductie kookplaat, koffiezetapparaat zijn aanwezig! Ook is er serviesgoed en glaswerk voor handen!
