Beautiful Penthouse with sea view

Some bits a bit tired , but overall a nice apartment, lots of steps but not the end of the world !very quiet and peaceful, we had a car so the garage to put it in was helpful as there is very little parking

We had a nice stay. Good communication with host.Wonderful view over the see.A little update in the kitchen would be nice. Vineglasses and so.....

Overall the apartment was as described with a very large terrace with fantastic views. Being at the far end of Mojacar there were fewer facilities nearby and at lot were closed because of the time of year but the beach was lovely as was the promenade to walk along. A car is definitely needed as are strong legs due to the number of steps upto the apartment but being so high up is why the views are so good. Arrangements for our arrival and departure weren't too good unfortunately and we had to have a lot of communication between ourselves and the key holder to make last minute plans to pick up the keys as the original key collection venue was closed. She also didn't come with us upto the apartment but said all instructions for the shutters, appliances etc would be there but they weren't unfortunately. This meant we spent the first 24-48 hours trying to find out how to work everything, even having to get in touch with the owner as the key holder said she couldn't help. We also had a problem on leaving because she was unable to come on our last day before we left for the airport. So we agreed to wait in on our final evening for her husband to come and check the apartment and return our 150 euros damage deposit. He didn't arrive until over an hour after the agreed time so this spoiled our final evening. The apartment itself was spacious and had everything we needed and was comfortable. It was just let down by the keyholders and the lack of information in the apartment itself.

veen to mojacar several times now. Loved the apartment as it's the quieter part of mojacar, it's 10 mins walk from the sea. All uphill especially the four flights of steps to the actual apartment, which we didn't mind. The apartment itself was a great size, well equipped, and apart from the odd light not working and the sliding doors being a pain to close, I enjoyed the stay. Showers great, kitchens got everything, suns on the terrace until the evening. Great large terrace. Air con all working well. So was all good, I'm only marking it down as when we left and hit the soil in the uk we received a snotty whatsapp saying we had left sand everywhere, with a picture of the broom we had swept the sand up with, We had swept the apartment through, washed all the towels taken all the rubbish away and left the apartment in a really good state. So that marred the holiday feeling, we were all set to book for next year but we will find somewhere else now. So that's a bit sad as all week we raved about the place.
