Peaceful stay in quiet neighborhood with friendly hosts

The host Nick is as friendly and helpful as a host can be. You can contact him if you need help or advise. You get raki and buns on arrival! It’s a very price worth, pretty little place to stay in Naxos. Quiet area a bit away from the center but close to supermarket and bakery. The big bed in my single room was comfy. Towels changed every second day and bed linen I’m not sure if they were changed in five nights which I think is great. Imagine what a win for the environment if all hotels stopped changing everything every day! Bathroom is totally ok.

A few minor annoyances: the cord for the kettle was to short, I had to put it on an upside down frying pan! A cutting board and a better knife as well as a bottle opener / corkscrew would be great but I’m sure you can get the later if you ask. My balcony was facing a whitewashed wall and a water tank but I could use the entrance area on second floor that was right outside my door. Most rooms seem to have nice balconies, street an a little mountain view. First part a bit boring walk to the center and harbour but not very far.

Amazing hospitality and location

Great location in a residential neighbourhood, walking distance from everything, and most of all, the kindest, friendliest host you could ask for! Nick was always at hand for anything we needed, great communication and lots of nice gestures like offering us cakes, drinks, beach umbrella and driving us to the port! True Greek hospitality :)

It would be nice to have a better bathroom door and a little more wardrobe space. But if you go in the summer you won’t need many clothes anyway!

A true gem in Naxos

The property was well maintained and clean! Pretty building. The host was amazing, so much care. Great location, everything reachable by foot. Nick greeted with a lot of attention, gave useful tips, travelling solo, so his generousness gave a sense of family. At the end of the stay, he offered to drive me to the airport (and the flight was way later than the actual check out time). I appreciate everything, hope to be back soon!

Welcoming, beautiful, relaxing - a home away from home

We had the loveliest stay at Zafiri and will definitely be coming back! Nick makes you feel at home right away and gave us all the island recommendations on our journey from the port I when he picked us up. The hotel is spotlessly clean and everything in the studio seemed new for the season. I love the location as it’s very local and beautiful and it’s near a street full of great restaurants, vehicle rentals etc and it’s a lovely walk to the port only about 10 minutes away. The day we left Nick brought our luggage to the port so we could head to town to pass the time until the ferry without all our luggage to carry.

Good value apartment in a quiet area

Nikos is a great host. Told us what to see on the island and offered to take us back to the port the day we left. We were left various gifts including wine and some homemade raki. The apartment was a good size with a great balcony. The WiFi was good and reliable and the aircon was very efficient. The apartments are in a residential area about 20 min walk from the centre of Naxos town. There is a bakery about 20m away and a supermarket within 5 min walk.

The folding door into the bathroom was a little difficult to open - especially in the middle of the night!

Like staying in your uncle place

The host, Nick, is such a lovely person, always ready to help you to facilitate car rental, pickup and drop off, listing best address in town, where to go on the island… the location is in a quiet area and only 15min. from the center of the town and the restaurant. We will definitely visit again

Sweet owner and great location

Nick is the sweetest and most helpful owner! He came to pick me up at port and took me back free of charge. He also took the time to bring me fresh donuts in the morning and check on me when I wasn't feeling well. The apartments are located just a few minutes from a lovely beach and 10-15 minutes from the port and city center. The rooms are well equipped and the cleaning standards are excellent. Room was great, bed was comfortable and shower was excellent. Good location, close to everything. The host was awesome. Nick picked us up from the port, took us to the apartments and even gave us some doughnuts. He also drove us back to the port on departure.

Everything was within walking distance. The apartment was clean, quiet and charming and reminded us of the “Mamma Mia” movie. It had 2 balconies, a great shower with plenty of water.

Kind host and great room!

The owner was so kind to meet me at the port and give me recommendations for Naxos town, and showed me routes for exploring the island and what to see. The room was a great size, I couldn't recommend enough! The nearby beach was gorgeous too.

Superb

The studio was cheerful and comfortable. Niki made me very welcome, and kindly transferred me to and from the port. The area was interesting as a resident one on modern outskirts, yet convenient to get to town entre. Also nice and quiet! Supermarket and all shops to hand.

It took me a while to work out the area layout and how to get into the centre. Detailed town plans do not seem to be easy to find on any of islands ! Google maps plus general map helped.

Very good

Nick went out and beyond when he picked us up at the port. The ferry was supposed to arrive at 11.30 pm but got delayed - arrived at 2.00 am instead. We we're not able to inform Nick of the initial delay and we don't know what time is the new ETA but he waited for us at the port. Hats off to this host.

Cosy and friendliest owner

We had a great time at studio Zafiri! The owner is so friendly, picked us up and dropped us at the ferry, gave us great tips about the island and a box of donuts. He was very quick to answer on text and helpfull. We liked the room and location. Parking on ATV was easy close to the apartment and it only takes like 10-15 min to walk to centrum. Everything was so fine! :-)

The pillows were too big and hard for our taste - but we got some flatter ones during the stay.

We would Definitely Stay Here Again!

Energetic host, Nick, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, from leaving us donuts (and refills!) and homemade raki to picking up the latest bus schedule. He even met us at the port before check-in and arranged for his gracious and friendly wife to drop us off at the port after check-out. The apartment had everything we needed, and we rated the shower the best among all accommodations we stayed at in Greece -- no water on the floor and easy temperature control. I'd actually rate our overall experience at Studios Zafiri as an 11!

We liked this appartment, it was near bus stops, hospital, supermarket, shops etc.... We had some minutes for walk to beach and center also. Aparment owner Nikos was extremly kind, helpful and real hospitable host. I will come back to Naxos and I am sure I will stay at Zafiris Apartment :)!!!!!!!

The host is the best!!! He came to the ferry to take us to the studio! He even bought us some donuts!!! He showed us all the things we had to do and even advised us some great restaurants! He arranged for us the rent of a scooter! In one hour we knew what we had to do for the 48 hours in Naxos! The room is great, quiet! Just perfect!

Nick, the host, was exceptionally nice and accommodating, picked me up from the port when I came, gave me great suggestions for things to see, and even printed out some travel documents for me the day I left. The place itself was absolutely charming and well maintained, located near the bus stop to the beautiful beaches of Agia Anna and Plaka, and close to the center of town while being quiet and chill. It was a lovely stay!

A welcoming host at a funky place

Nick is amazing, he met me at the port at midnight for a complimentary lift to the studio even though my boat was very late. He’s passionate about the place and super helpful. Room was spacious and fully equipped. Great balcony and excellent firm mattress for a solid sleep. Neighborhood is quiet for a good rest and away from downtown frenzy but at the same time within a walking distance to what you need - beach/restos. Price was competitive and a real value. I even had my boarding pass for my flight arranged to be printed by Nick, checkout time was very reasonable and I was even offered a free lift to the port but I walked as I had time. Not to forget Nick was maintaining a prompt correspondence before arrival, a man you can count on! Totally recommended, efaharisto poli!

Not to miss to mention - there was a complimentary raki at the room! Nothing I didn’t like! A great short stay!

Location...near to bus stops and supermarket and some fab restaurants.The port was about 15 minute walk which was fine but wouldn't suit everyone.Nick the owner was very helpful but listen carefully as he is so enthusiastic he talks too fast!

The room we had was the cheapest but even so it is very dated and dies really need a makeover.I like a firm mattress but found mattress and pillows hard.
