Enchanting in Alto Adige

We had the pleasure to stay at "Residence Baumgartner" during our way back home, unfortunately we did stay for one night only, but it deserves to be leveraged for much deeper immersion in this enchanting Alto Adige location. The apartment at the last floor with mountain view is superb, friendly staff, super acceptable cost ... and the swimming pool is a gem.

the host was there

the place was very nice, well located, next to a bus stop (we didn't have car) but the host was not flexible at all. We were two friends (in our 50-60s) and the flat had 2 single beds and one double bed. She wanted us to take the double bed because taking two beds was considered "extra". She then charged 10 euros extra for the bed (cash) and said if we didn't clean the kitchen, she was going to charge us €30 (we used it only for heating water for instant coffee). She didn't take credit cards and when i offered a bank transfer, she said bank transfers from Spain don't always get through (which of course is not true; there's IBAN in Europe!). Place was good, but the host wasn't; she treated us like she was doing us a favor for letting us stay there and the price per night was a fair price (€90).

in general everything is fine, but just a hint for future travellers that time of check-in listed on booking is not relevant and you need to arrive before 11 PM.

Lovely place

The room was so pretty and full of atmosphere! There was everything we needed and much more in the room. The village is beautiful and the busses go right in front of the residence. We had an amazing stay!

Amazing place to stay

It's a really nice place to stay for a couple of nights. The view is amazing, it's also possible to walk around. The host is very friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, and has pretty much everything you might need.

Wifi is really really bad and slow. You have to wash the dishes otherwise you will pay €40 which is a bit odd and expensive The pool was closed and I don't think the opening period is mentioned anywhere in the description

Amazing location with a beautiful view of the mountains, very friendly and helpful and great value for money. Would 100% recommend for those looking to ski or explore the Dolomites. In a small town with a lovely bakery two doors down and a tourist office across the road so very central and accessible,

The flat is specious was kept in its original old fashion design (simple and beautiful), immaculately clean.

At first we could not find the place and it was somewhat difficult for the hostess to explain (German or English) nevertheless she was patient and very very nice. Wifi Connection is very weak. Single beds were somewhat uncomfortable for teen boys.

Everything was nice and clean. Nice little pool for a refreshing dip, location was great, with shops, a bakery, bars and restaurants at walking distance, indoor carpark. Staff was very friendly, just lovely actually! The room we had could need an update, but it had enough space for the two nights we spent there. It had a wonderful big balcony and great views. We were just happy to have found a place, as it's high season in the Alps now.

A lovely apartment for a mountain holiday.

The apartment was spacious, wood paneling and furniture making it cozy and there was a huge balcony with a view of the Schlern. The bed was very comfortable. There is a small pool, where I had a wonderful swim and a lovely garden with lounge chairs to sit and read and enjoy that lovely mountain air. The location is perfect, right in the center of Völs and next to the bus stop.

Residence is located in a beautiful small village in South Tirol. Rooms were quite big and they are clean. There are bakery and coffee shop right next to it to easily get breakfast.

If we have journey down south again, definitely this would be our stop. Very lovely, thank you.

Absolutely lovely host, accommodation and surroundings with mountain view. Bakery, restaurant and little shop around, all you need, nothings missing. Beds were comfy, no problem with that. Kitchen well equipt but maybe extra pan could be useful. Just make sure you don't come before check-in as you won't be allowed to use room before. For me as pregnant woman it wasn't such pleasure but for non pregnant is definitely fine :)
