Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was modern, clean and very roomy for an overnight stay. Beds were big and very comfy. Plenty of clean and fresh towels. Tea/coffee and biscuits were available in the room also.
Hotel corridors getting a makeover. Pool area was a bit smelley and safety lockers need an upgrade. Staff were apologetic and helpful gettig me more towels.
I would love to see the golf course back in operation.
Some lovely walks around the grounds though and great birdwatching by the lake

Breakfast very good, location good.
Problems with TV reception on both nights of stay. No fridge in room to keep water or drinks cold. Room while spacious was sparsely furnished no press for clothes or pictures on the wall. No Smithwicks beer in bar.!!
