The weather 🤣

The location was lovely. Food was good. Staff were generally friendly.
Hallways and stair carpets needed replaced they were so old. I didn’t get to sleep because every time shower was on r if someone used toilet the noise in the walls was very very loud. Didn’t think it was value for money.

The location, the staff, the food and drinks were all amazing.
Some of the fittings in the bathroom were loose for example the towel rail and shaving mirror.

Views were beautiful from breakfast room.
Room was nice
Breakfast was served to the table, but the portions were quite small. Staff were too busy chatting to call for assistance. Full Irish was 1 of everything and no substitutions. No fruit / cereals or toast. Not worth the money.

Extremely disappointed with this stay. Although it was in a lovely location, that was it. The room was so poor and in need of repairs and cleaning.
Room shabby, dated and in need of repairs. Stains on bed linen. Black stains on the towels. Mould along the bath. Windows looked like they have never been cleaned.

Accessible room not available but staff, specifically Gia, went out of their way to provide a suitable room, added a chair to help with bathroom, escorted us via lift to room so that we did not need to use stairs. Very much appreciated. Great location just by the water front. Would stay again.

The location of the hotel was ideal and I had requested a sea-view room which was granted and the view was stunning over Carlingford Lough.

Right on the seafront. Staff go above and beyond breakfast and dinner were outstanding and reasonably priced. The bar area was warm friendly and inviting. Bustling at night and live Irish music.

Beautiful boutique hotel situated right on the seafront. Free parking on the road outside the hotel was easy to load and unload bags. Dining room in first floor gave excellent views if the sea and mourne mountains.

This is a really special property - the Hotel is right on the sea front and has been maintained and decorated in very good order, the decor is flamboyant and romantic, and the room I stayed in was large and well appointed with a sea view. The food at dinner was exquisite. If I were local to this Hotel then I would be a regular for evening meals. The staff were all friendly, professional and able to accommodate everything that I required. I am so glad I chose to stay at the Whistledown.
It was all good

The Hotel is beautifully furnished. The staff are all welcoming and friendly. Helped with my gluten free options. The location is fantastic. The staff had left us a wee card and a bar of chocolate for our anniversary. The food in the restaurant is amazing book early to guarantee you get in.
There was nothing not to like.

Very friendly staff. The food was lovely and portions were very generous. The bar was very cool and quirky and they provided great entertainment! The bed was very comfortable and we had a gorgeous view of the sea from our window.
It was a little bit pricey for one night with no breakfast included.

Great location. Amazing view. Superb room. Excellent dining.
Live music was great.
I would have liked porridge to be included with breakfast- only one option for breakfast. Veggie breakfast was excellent but would have also liked porridge to be included in breakfast.

Comfy bed, great pint of Guinness and a good Irish breakfast!
To have been able to have a bar snack in the evening, rather than have to go upstairs to the restuarant.
