Our room was small & quite quirky but had a very comfortable bed. We loved the other sitting & games rooms with the antique furnishings. The location was great for walking to shops & eateries
The door to our bathroom needed some work or replacement. And we found the carpark at the back a bit of a challenge especially in our bigger car.

Very close to railway station as we arrived in Katoomba by train.
The single lift in the hotel was slow, noisy and needs to be replaced as would get stuck on another floor. The room was average with old fashioned furniture and small bathroom. The bed was too firm. The heating in the room took ages to heat the room noting I was there in winter. The dining room closed one night at 7.30pm unknown to us and on the Sunday night was closed altogether. The dining room also was only open to 8pm other nights which meant you had to leave that room after 8pm. For $200 per night it was not good value at all.
