    I've been staying at Katoomba Mountain Lodge regularly for the past six years, and it has become my go to place whenever I'm hiking in the Blue Mountains. What keeps me coming back is how safe and comfortable I always feel. It has a welcoming atmosphere that, for me, marks the end of a long day on the trails. It's the place where you can finally take your boots off, have a hot shower, cook a meal, and rest before your next adventure. The lodge has several bathrooms, so even if one or two showers are occasionally out of order, I've never had to wait. The common areas are spacious, the kitchen is well equipped with everything I need to prepare a meal, and the dining room has a charm of its own. It isn't a luxury hotel, and that's why I stay here. It has character, a relaxed atmosphere, and over the years it has become part of my Blue Mountains hiking tradition. I look forward to coming back every time.

    Location is very accessible from the train station as well as Echo Point lookout. Restaurants and shops are also nearby. Staff is very helpful in checking in and providing instructions on how to check-out and access to the other facilities of the property. Great for short stays to explore around Katoomba 😊

    A place feel like home, the staff adrian is really nice, always gathering people, giving good advices in travelling Australia/ katoomba. He somehow managed the hostel only on his own. I get why people kept commenting this place is cringy, cause a lot of the people with longer stays are really struggling their lives, so they just hang around all day. Lots of common area. If u re into quietness, i think this place is pretty good. But the bathrooms re a bit old and mouldy.

    Basically a good place for a quick stay,has that older lodge appeal,easy access to town and railway station,rooms smallish for number of people@ spring mattress a bit uncomfortable,but you get what you pay for,so was ok,staff good,kitchen looks good,well organised,however i didnt ue it but a lot do..value for price is very good..
