Dubrovnik Hill Apartments

The view from the balcony was very calming. The property was very clean, with all the necessary amenities. I liked that it was located far away from the busy / touristy centres: sleep was not a problem at all. The bed was very comfortable. I also liked that it was located far up the hill: I enjoy being active, and going for long walks, so that was the perfect level of workout. Katija & Darko were very hospitable, and responsive. Katija even offered us some very delicious cake, which we thoroughly enjoyed for breakfast!

I was not aware that there was an adjacent apartment being rented out. Unfortunately, the insulation between apartments is very poor, and you can hear the other tenants just like they are in a different room. I think there is one door that leads directly to the other apartment. Despite it being locked, this contributes to a sense of having your privacy invaded. Fortunately, the other tenants were the quiet kind - like us - so we didn’t have any major issues.

Everything is fine. Although you can hear the people in neighbouring apartment. It’s not very sound proof.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property. The location is excellent, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. The apartment was spotless, very well maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the space was cozy and quiet, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. What made our experience even better was the host, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available to help.

We really liked the location and the spaciousness of the apartment especially the amply provided amenities in all the rooms (huge storage spaces in all rooms, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living room with a huge sofa). It is near groceries, restaurants and bus stops too. Bellevue beach is within 10 minutes walk. We would have extended our stay had it been possible for us to do that, as our hosts very graciously offered us lists of activities/restaurants to try that we just don''t have enough time for. The area feels safe to walk at night too. If you are going for guided bus tours, there was also a pick-up point just about 5 minutes away. We definitely would come back here soon, we sincerely hope! We only had 3 full days to explore and looking back we could have gone for about 5 days so we don't feel harried especially in the month of August where the sweltering heat can really slow you down. :D
