About this house rental

This 6-bedroom holiday home rests in Houyet, on the heights of the village. There is a relaxation area with a sauna to unwind in privacy. You can stay here in comfort with 14 persons, be it a large family, two smaller families, or a group of couples.

The holiday home enjoys a beautiful view of the royal castle of Ciergnon and the entire valley. The caves of Han and the wild animal park are nearby and also the the Castle of Celles. At 10 km from the holiday home, you will find the bustling town center with several supermarkets and restaurants. You can be here to enjoy your evenings.

When it is cold outside, you can warm up by the woodstove in the living room. After having a tiring day, take some time for yourself and use the sauna. There are a playground and bunk beds for the children. A cot and a high chair can be rented here.
Reservations for groups of persons under 30 years of age are not permitted
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

Nice house for 14 people. We are sorry that there were only 12 patio chairs. Something more than just tableware for 14 people would be handy. But otherwise excellent.

The holiday house is really gehorig.Op the attic is no door and you with the four 1 bedroom slapen.Mooi spacious balcony terrace, a pity that in our little house on the road was.Schoon park.Mooie quiet nature and beautiful view.

Mooie omgeving, accomodatie was van de meeste gemakken voorzien, wel oubollig en gedateerd maar verder prima in orde. Wat mij het meest heeft teleurgesteld, is dat de verhuurder je gigantische bedragen laat betalen voor zaken die zij als niet in orde ervaren. Bijvoorbeeld; - 30 euro voor wat resten houtskool in de barbecue, vaat in de vaatwasser en afval wat niet compleet gesorteerd was. - 20 euro voor wassen van een aantal stuks bedlinnen. Deze bedragen, onder andere, kwamen bovenop de hoge standaard kosten voor de schoonmakers. Ronduit belachelijk dat je door de verhuurder wordt opgelicht met zulke kostenposten, niet aan te raden om in zee te gaan met deze verhuurder.

Mooie chalet. Heel rustig gelegen. Als natuur liefhebber ideaal gelegen. Veel itgestrekte weilanden en bossen. Enkel bij de slaapkamers boven moest je oppassen voor de nokken van het dak. Maar dat hoort nu eenmaal zo in een chalet. Alle ruimte zijn nuttig benut.

Aankomst en ontvangst erg slecht. In kou en regen eindeloos moeten bellen voordat iemand moeite zou gaan doen dat we een sleutel zouden krijgen. Ondertussen had een deel van ons gezelschap op het park het huis gevonden dat overeenkwam met de foto's van de website. Daar werden we weggestuurd omdat het huis niet verhuurd zou zijn. Pas geruime tijd later werden we door iemand van Ourthe Somme toch naar dat huis gebracht. Excuses zijn niet geuit, laat staan dat we verwelkomd werden. De accommodatie was matig. Zo is zolderverdieping alleen kruipend te gebruiken, de kelderverdieping moeilijk te verwarmen omdat alle warmte naar boven vliegt, werkt het bovengedeelte van de afwasmachine niet, is het uitzicht vanuit het huis door alle begroeiing zeer matig (i.t.t. de mooie aanprijzing van de website) en zo nog meer. Dat we ondanks dit alles toch een fantastische vakantie hadden is te danken aan de wijze waarop onze kinderen en kleinkinderen opa en oma verwend hebben met zorg en gezelligheid.

Aankomst was een beetje onduidelijk over het verkrijgen van de sleutel, we hadden geen bericht ontvangen over de gang van zaken. Borg etc. moest ter plekke nog betaald worden, deze kosten waren gewoon gewoon op een kladblaadje met potlood geschreven en was niet echt professioneel, bewijs van betaling was er hierdoor niet. Huisje was verder prima in orde, enkel de indeling van het huisje hoe deze op de belvilla-site staat aangeboden komt niet overheen met de werkelijkheid en twee badkamers stonden op 1 boiler aangesloten die we niet aan kregen waardoor hier enkel koud water was. Ligging was mooi, goed uitzicht etc.

Het huisje is zeer mooi gelegen in een voor ons iets te rustige omgeving. Het is er wel zeer mooi. Wel jammer dat de eigenaar moeilijk te bereiken is en dat er niemand op de receptie op het park aanwezig is. Trappen in het vakantiehuisje zijn niet handig met kindjes.
