Girls weekend wellness retreat

It is a beautiful place, with very pretty design and decoration, it’s calm and peaceful. Breakfast is really good and generous! The landlord was very nice and helpful.

Pets are allowed. So it feels a bit unsanitary to have 3 dogs walking inside the house through the kitchen area. The kitchen, the dining table, the living room and the wellness facilities are shared with other renters. It is not allowed to lock the entrance door to the house because renters should be able to come and go as they wish, so it can feel a bit unsafe to sleep with unlocked doors.

Immersed in nature for one night.

We stayed at Durbuy House for just one night while passing through. The property is very spacious and well equipped for children’s games, both indoors and outdoors. The shared kitchen is beautiful, functional, and very well equipped. The pool is also lovely, although we didn’t use it. It’s surrounded by an oasis of peace and nature. The room was clean and equipped with all the necessary comforts.

Good relaxing weekend, would be ideal to book the whole house as a large group

The common rooms are a good thing but unfortunately we were woken up twice by people cooking and drinking at 1am. The breakfast could have been a bit better for the price.

Relaxing location, friendly hosts, spacious rooms and common areas, good spa opening hours, good choice of drinks for fair prices, facilities were quite modern.

As always, it’s a real pleasure to stay here! Very comfortable and fully equipped house – there’s enough space for everyone to enjoy. There’s a big garden, kitchen and living area. In the surroundings you find a lot of green. The owner is super friendly. Not to forget, this stay includes a pool, sauna, jacuzzi & hamam. A real treasure!

Lovely but not intimate

The location is wonderful with lots of nature nearby. The facilities are nice with a jacuzzi and hammam. The pool was closed due to the high energy bills. The kitchen is really fully equipped and very comfortable and there are also quite a few board games in case the weather is not great.

I booked 3 rooms for our family hoping that the whole house was ours for a birthday celebration. Nowhere it's mentioned that the location can host 14 people on the ground floor and another 10 below which makes it very noisy as the rooms are very close by... so quite a deception since we wanted a cosy weekend by ourselves.

We visited Durbuy House with a group of friends. Especially if you are with a large group this facility is very interesting. For couples it would be less interesting if you have a group of 10 around as the additional visitors. I can imagine this is not the best option. The kitchen was amazing great space to cook for a large group of people. Interior was excellent as well as the beds.

Lovely location and owners

This small scale family hotel is in the country side only 10 minutes from Durbuy. They are well on the way to becoming a wellness center too, with only the details around the sauna to be completed (pool, jacuzzi and hamam all ready!).The ambiance is relaxed and friendly, and the service is great (very helpful). A great place to stay with kids as there is a lot to keep them (and jong and old adults!) entertained inside and outside at the property (games, slides, badminton, boules etc). The spacious and well equipped kitchens and communal spaces are unique in their concept and standard of quality. Really amazing!!

Little pradise

Everything you need is here! Lovely staff and wonderfull place. Very good hammam and jacuzzi. For its price you get more than needed. In the bathroom is everything you need to feel yourself comfortable and clean. So you don't need to take anything with you.

The location is bad without a car. You can be there in 10min from durbuy. And with your feet is it an hour and a little more.

The house is very clean, well equipped and the landscaping (garden, pool, playground) is impressive. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. As others mentioned, the breakfast offered was exceptional (best I've ever had in Belgium). Not only there was incredible variety but many dishes were freshly cooked by the owner on the site. My favourite: freshly squeezed orange juice, omelette with eggs from the next door hens, crêpes with homemade jam.

We had a wonderful stay at the Durbuy House. Breakfast was delicious with a very large choice of dishes. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself or for small groups and the owner is super friendly and helpful. Ask him anything and he will do his best to help you. And finally the bedroom was very spacious with a very good bed.

Excellent service, attention, and welcoming. Breakfast exceeded expectations, good common facilities too. Around 10m away from Durbuy center. I highly recommend staying here.

Room was quite warm, air conditioning would have made the stay perfect while avoiding mosquitoes into the room.

Perfect spot for families

Very friendly owner, quiet location, close to Durbuy and other sightseeing spots, hiking tracks etc. The warmed swimming pool is the perfcet bonus if the weather is reasonable, even evening bathing is pleasant.

The rooms are a bit noisy until about 23h, u til all guests retire for the night.

Kleinschalig met luxe en veel ruimte en spelletjes (ook buiten) zodat zowel kinderen als ouders kunnen genieten en ontspannen. Heerlijk zwembad, fijn ook dat er een badjas aanwezig is.

Hygiene van de gezamenlijke buiten- en wellness ruimtes kan beter, veel spinnenwebben, nog stickers op de ramen en loshangende electra in de sauna. Hier meer aandacht aan besteden en regelmatiger schoonmaken.

L'emplacement, le cadre, la maison, le jardin et l'espace extérieur qu'on a eu rien que pour nous pendant notre séjour! Le jacuzzi, hammam et la piscine ainsi que tous les jeux pour enfants. Le petit déjeuner qui était excellent et les possibilités de choix qui étaient énormes. Nous conseillons vraiment ce logement pour les familles avec enfants.

La propreté de la piscine et du jacuzzi : ils auraient pu être un peu plus propres. Sinon la chambre et les communs étaient impeccables. Pas de têtières dans le jacuzzi. Pas de savon et de shampoing car les pots étaient vides, nous avons dû aller en redemander. Sinon c'était très bien
