La Residenza Sul Largo

Very sensibly priced. We stayed in room 4 before our week long cruise and room 1 afterwards. Comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean. Location excellent for town (so many places of all types to eat, drink, explore etc.) and all public transport including the port. Cagliari was delightful as were its people. Cristiana & Simone were wonderful (see what we didn't like below :-) ). We slept with the balcony windows open over the town centre and it was noisy until about 10:30pm when Cagliari settled down for the night. The sounds of life and enjoyment were lovely.

We are in our late 70s and for our first arrival I said I'd carry our bags up the four long flights of stairs and struggled - not the fault of Cristiana and Simone, they respected my bravado. On our second stopover, Simone absolutely flew up the stairs with our luggage. See - nothing to see ehre really! It was a bit of a climb for us old folk but worth it.

Amazing location, easy check in location, very accommodating

Beautiful accommodation, great facilities, in a central location to many local restaurants and bars, and only a short walk to the train station. We stayed in the deluxe room, which had 2 large windows with Juliette balconies with a lovely view of the street and old town. The staff were friendly, helpful and very responsive.

There was some noise at night, as the property is on the main road but not a concern unless you are a light sleeper.

Central location.

WiFi very poor.
