Wam welcome from the moment we arrived.
Room very clean.
Very convenient for the train station.
Plenty of hot water.
Excellent value for money.
The breakfast is basic - great cappuccino and pastry with yoghurt and plenty of fruit. Perfect for me and my daughter and very cheap at €5.

Reception staff was very friendly and cordial, location was great, fantastic to have a refrigerator in the room, great WiFi. Cleaning staff was kind enough to give me an extra small bottle of water as I thought this was a daily service but instead it was just offered for arrival.
I booked this hotel as it said it had a lift, but when I was given the key I was told I had to do 3 stairs with my luggage.
I was disappointed as I recently had a hip replacement so travelled with a crutch and you would think that instead of stairs at least they would modify it to a ramp so it is disabled accessible? Reception staff offered to help me with it but even with some planks of wood it would allow guests to walk it independently.
Also on my first morning the cleaning staff came into my room at 8.15 without even knocking at the door and nearly gave me a heart attack as I was in the loo. Gentleman said according to his file the room was empty… Every single morning they would wake you up at 8 am opening doors, talking normally to each other, making noise… no care about guests that might want to sleep a little longer if they had a night out. Check out is at 10 am, why can’t they wait until check out time to start cleaning or at least make it 9 am???
I have travelled all over the world and this has never happened to me, it’s almost like they want to kick you out and you are an inconvenience to them.
At arrival there is a small bottle in the fridge, as a suggestion considering it is almost 40 degrees, wouldn’t it be a lovely welcome to guests to find the fridge turned on so they can have a cold beverage?
Hotel decor is very simple and dated but can be easily overlooked if other small details could be taken into account to make guests looked after.

Very clean and very well located. It’s a bit basic but very good value. The reception staff was kind.
The room faced the street, and it was very very noisy (the window is not double glazed); there was a hens party in the restaurant in front, and it was loud till 2:30 am. I should have asked to have a room in the back.

Very conveniently located to the marina and train station. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Had all the basic necessities for the price point.
The room and bathroom were extremely small - especially the shower- and the room felt very outdated and lacked in comfort.
