A clean and unusual flat of character with a charming and kind host.

This is an unusual flat in a block undergoing restoration. It's on the 3rd or 4th floor - I can't recall now - and there is no lift, which may be an issue for some. To say that it has character would be an understatement! - there are all kinds of unexpected lighting effects. It was certainly comfortable, once you got used to how things, including the shower, worked. The breakfast was typical continental, with wrapped rolls and cakes, and plastic plates and cups. The windows open and have adequate shutters and curtains. The host could not have been more kind and helpful, and his own wonderfully artistic paintings decorate the walls. Mine was a short trip this time, but I'd happily return, hopefully for longer.

Not the property's fault, but some thoughtless fool was practising drums to rock music until gone 1-00 am, which kept me awake. The low frequency beats boomed through the walls in some kind of freak acoustic way, but it was impossible to hear with the window open where it was coming from. Eventually I went outside and walked around, and discovered that it was next door on the ground floor. Hard to hear from outside, but annoying when lying in bed. I hope it's not a regular occurrence, for the sake of the neighbours!

Alfonso is a very welcoming and friendly person to meet upon arrival. You can see he takes pride in the apartment with all the art and lovely furniture, it's a very comfortable place. The location for me was great, I didn't mind walking from there into the centre of Genoa but for those who don't want to walk, the bus is only a few minutes walk away and takes about 15 minutes to reach the aquarium area. This was an amazing stay and it made my trip to Genoa. I have also never seen such a cool shower! Just wait until you see it. Thank you Alfonso!

I loved everything! Just a note to people with accessibility issues, there is no lift but the apartment is only on the 3rd floor.

It is a large apartment. The owner being in artist, all around was his lovely works of art. The rooms were clean and cosy.

Very much noise on the street, even by night. The fridge is extremely small. Just two towels, for four people: one big and one small, and both was looking disgusting.The extendable sofa is not at all confortable.

Bell'appartamentino in zona Sanpierdarena

Ampio monolocale tutto per sé, arredato in modo curato e molto comodo. Bagno enorme e doccia stupenda. Letto comodissimo così come i cuscini. L'host è super gentile. La zona è popolare ma comoda per tutti i servizi e vicina al centro. L'ho trovata anche abbastanza fresca di notte data la vicinanza al mare.

Terzo piano senza ascensore :) La pulizia mancava di qualche piccolo dettaglio. Manca una tapparella alla finestra quindi almeno io tendo a svegliarmi presto con la luce. Non c'è un vero e proprio servizio per la colazione ma viene lasciato qualcosa dall'host in un armadio.

Schöne Unterkunft für Kurzaufenthalt

Großes, sauberes Zimmer und ebensolches Bad, toll dekoriert! Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, der noch spät nach meiner Ankunft von der Fähre gut gelaunt auf mich gewartet hat, bequemes Bett, funktionierende Heizung, Nähe zum Fährhafen!

Parkplatzsuche auf der Straße war schwierig! Es gab kein Frühstück! Dafür fehlte ein bisschen ‚Küche‘: Wasserkessel und Teebeutel vorhanden, aber keine Tassen, Mikrowelle auch, aber weder Teller noch Besteck und der Kühlschrank hat leider nicht funktioniert. Es sind drei hohe Stockwerke hochzusteigen!
