Very welcoming host. We were very pleased with the small bottle of wine which was left for us as we’d forgotten to buy one and the property is not close to any shops. The fresh eggs from the host’s chickens were also a pleasant surprise.The secure parking was good. The patio with a table and chairs was a pleasant place to sit.

Whilst the bed linen was fine, the pillows were definitely past their best. There was used coffee in the filter coffee machine and water left in the jug. This gave us the impression that perhaps the property hadn’t been cleaned and checked very thoroughly. One ring on the gas cooker did not work and luckily we had a lighter because the other rings were not self igniting and there were no matches available. We had our own towels, but thought the charge of 10 euros had we wanted towels provided was unwarranted, bearing in mind the rental cost. We have stayed in many similar properties, which have charged the same or less, but which have all provided basic toiletries. There was not even a small cake of hand soap available in this one.
