Nice clean and comfortable appartment

The written explanations to collect the key did not fully match the reality, and i had better explanation on the phone as i asked the host to call me in emergency, since i searched for the key for 30min on the street alone with my 5 year old boy on the street at 10pm. The email said there were 2 boxes and the address was number 19. Actually it was number 17b and there was only 1 box which was to be pulled open to find the box in which the key was hidden.

Classic Narrow Street Apartment Experience!

The apartment was in a classic narrow street behind massive old doors! If you've always wondered what it'd be like to live in one of these old places, this is a little taster! (NB number 17, not 19, as our email said. Also, parking is in the street if there's a space or in a public car park just up the road - the details said 'parking on site') Lovely thick walls - there was a washing machine and tumble dryer, with washing tablets for your use. Being on a motorbike holiday, it was great to be able to do some laundry, unexpectedly. Very clean, and lovely small bathroom but be aware, very small gap to pass through between the sink and shower wall to get to the loo. Can't rate the sofa bed for comfort for sleeping but okay to sit - no English channels. Good WiFi. It was very hot and there was an air conditioning unit which we pulled out and set up in what seemed like a purposefully left gap in a cupboard, but not very effective. Cooler in the bedroom though. Overall, it was a great experience to get to stay in one of these old apartments, with its up to date facilities. Nicely done. NB 10am departure seems a bit early when arriving late - we asked for it to be extended as I hadn't spotted the time on the advert, as usually 11am in France. Eventually kindly agreed a later time but cleaners turned up before we left, earlier than the agreed time. No matter - it was nice to meet and chat!

Incorrect address and no private parking. Instructions should be available for the air conditioning unit - where to place it etc (perhaps in a few languages?). Instructions for use of the apartment are all hand written - it would be better to type up in a few languages and have pages in a folder? The configuration of the bathroom?

Appartement sympa mais mal insonorisé.

L'appartement est sympa, bien décoré et propre. Les draps sentent bon.

Manque d'intimité. L'insonorisation du logement est à revoir complètement. On entend tout ce qu'il se passe autour de nous. On entend les passants parler comme s'ils étaient dans le salon avec nous, les voitures circuler. Il y a une entrée à côté, on entend chaque allée et venue. Du coup on a l'impression de pouvoir être entendu également.On entend les chasses d'eau du bâtiment d'à côté. Manque de luminosité la journée (un seul point de lumière). Et si on ouvre les rideaux les voisins d'en face peuvent nous voir dans le salon.

Logement qui vieillit mal : le mur en pierre s’effrite, la literie et les draps de lit sont plus que passé. Les 2 poêles sont extrêmement abîmées, inutilisables.

Die Gegend ist baufällig und düster. Die Tür, die das Appartment von der Straße trennt, ist nicht von innen abschließbar, so dass wir uns nachts nicht sicher fühlten. Dieses wurde auch schon von unseren Vorgängern bemängelt, wurde wohl ignoriert. Auf Nachfrage, wo denn der Müll entsorgt werden kann, war die Antwort: irgendwo im Ort. Bei der Buchung war ein PKW-Stellplatz angegeben, dieser war nicht vorhanden.

La situation du bien en centre ville et le rapport qualité /prix

Pas de trottoir sur le seuil de l’entrée, rue étroite avec passage de voitures dangereux, marches pour entrer dans l’appartement. Porte d’entrée qui bloque à l’ouverture et la fermeture. Dans la douche l’écoulement de l’eau est engorgé et a besoin d’être débouché. Canapé du séjour pas confortable pour regarder la télé. Pas de mode d’emploi pour la box, la télé ni pour le micro-ondes…

Bien placé mais très mal isolé

Appartement très bien placé, proche de parkings et joliment décoré. Le logement est propre et j'ai apprécié la réactivité des gérants.

- La taille de la couette qui n'est pas adaptée à la taille du lit.ce qui perturbe la qualité du sommeil - le chauffage qui est inefficace et bruyant en raison de la mauvaise isolation du logement - le bruit (toujours en raison de la mauvaise isolation). On a l'impression que les gens qui parlent dans la rue se trouvent dans la chambre !... - les rideaux ne permettent pas de vivre à la lumière du jour sans être directement au vu de tous..

Un petit week-end agréable dans le Gard en famille.

L'emplacement était pratique avec un grand parking à proximité. Bonne communication avec l'hôte. Logement propre et agréable. un vrai petit cocon :) Nous reviendrons prochainement car nous avons de la famille a proximité.
