very cosy, warm and a little bit quirky getaway in the blossom region!

Breakfast is fresh, homemade and delicious. The host offered a big variety in produces (mostly local). She is a very warm person who puts her heart in Villa Kakelbont. She welcomed us with a personal touch in the room and homemade cake. She showed us around the beautifull natural garden and was very helpfull with information about the region, hiking tips, ... You are a 5 min walk away from the cosy centre of Borgloon and hiking trails are nearby.

Superb

Warm welcome from our host Sophia with homemade green soup. Room newly renovated, spacious and agreeable. Breakfast with fresh fruit salad, and homemade delights was excellent. Nice sitting area in a romantic lush garden.

Marvellous hostess with an exceptional greeting upon arrival. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere with wonderful rooms. Lovely nights sleep followed by an absolutely amazing breakfast. I've since stayed there again on my travels and would recommend this delightful guest house to all.

Heerlijk, gemoedelijk, huiselijk en rustig.

Warme ontvangst door de gastvrouw. Lokatie prima, bed uitstekend, ontbijt heerlijk met veel eigen producten.

Eigenlijk niets, we hebben normaal het liefst douche en wc op de kamer. Overigens was het gebruik van de badkamer op de gang wel goed privé.

Sosta in un viaggio itinerante

Seppur situata in un piccolo centro abitato si possono raggiungere a piedi diversi locali per la cena, la villa è dotata di un ampio giardino di cui la proprietaria è giustamente orgogliosa. La colazione decisamente abbondante e completa servita in un bel servizio di porcellana inglese.

Leuk verblijf dichtbij centrum Borgloon

Sophia is een heel vriendelijke gastvrouw! We hadden een ruime kamer, de mooie badkamer met geweldige douche was aan de overkant van de gang. De tuin van Villa Kakelbont is zeer gezellig ingericht. Het ontbijt was fantastisch met veel zelfgemaakte producten.

Muy bien ubicada y fácil de encontrar. La propietaria fue súper amable en todo momento y nos permitió guardar nuestras bicicletas bajo cubierto. El desayuno con todo casero estaba delicioso y muy abundante. La habitación era cómoda pero tenía en baño fuera.

El baño estaba muy limpio pero estaba fuera de la habitación. Es un poco caro en comparación con lo que hemos pagado en alojamientos similares.

Heerlijk ontbijt, heel vriendelijke en warme ontvangst, mooie tuin. Prachtige locatie voor wandelen, lopen en fietsen, dichtbij het centrum om een hapje te eten. Mogelijkheid om fietsen te huren.

Het bed was fantastisch en de kamer ruim. Het ontbijt was zeer verzorgd.

De externe badkamer, maar is geen reden om niet te boeken.

Liefdevolle gastvrouw

De vriendelijkheid van de gastvrouw. Prachtig! Hele warme dame met een passie voor haar vak. Elke dag een nieuw verrassend zelfgemaakt ontbijt. Geen uitgaansbuurt dus lekker rustig. Jammer dat ons weekendje zo snel voorbij was! Kleine tip, zeker niet als minpunt te beschouwen maar eerder een overweegpunt 😁: nette overdekte plaats voor fietsen te stallen. Maar denk dat er nu ik deze tijd voornamelijk gebruikt wordt van elektrische fietsen. De batterijen zijn niet veilig om ze in huis op te laden doordat ze moeilijk te blussen zijn. (Mijn beroepsdeformatie) Misschien overwegen om iets van oplaadruimte buiten te voorzien? Al dan niet betalend? Aaagh en we hadden de Pippi-kamer en badkamer. Bij het ondersteboven föhnen van mijn haren aan de wastafel, met de rug naar de raamkant, kon je ook een verborgen tekening in de tegelstructuur zien met wat fantasie van Pippi langkous 🤩😁 kei toevallig! Jammer dat ik er geen foto van hem genomen.

Sophia is een zeer hartelijke gastvrouw die je iedere morgen weet te verrassen met een voortreffelijk lekker ontbijt met zelf bereide producten! Villa Kakelbont is rustig en uitstekend gelegen, propere kamers en een zeer warm onthaal !!

Heel goed, zeker aan te raden.

Het originele ontbijt met lokale en zelf bereide kwaliteitsproducten. De sfeer was gemoedelijk met een zeer vriendelijke en geïnteresseerde gastvrouw zonder opdringerig te zijn. De nabijheid van het centrum is zeker een extra troef.

Een fijne terugblik naar Pippi Langkous in Villa Kakelbont, Borgloon

Gelegen in het centrum van Borgloon is Villa Kakelbont een oase van rust met een ongerepte tuin waar je kan genieten van de natuur. De vriendelijke ontvangst van de gastvrouw maakte het helemaal af. We kregen een nette ruime kamer en elke ochtend konden we genieten van een heerlijk ontbijt met huisbereide producten. Haar kennis en tips over de streek waren een extra meerwaarde. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
