Despite the weather. This place made our stay in Kerry!

Paula was lovely. Everything was done to a t. She was so accommodating and friendly, helping us with restaurants and activities around the area. The hot tub and sauna are a must! 2km walk from the town of Portmagee as a heads up, but very doable. The views are also stunning from the apartment. I will definitely be back as this was one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed at.

Absolutely fantastic stay!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Rooms very clean, cozy and extremely quiet, it took us approximately 4 or 5 minutes by car from village center to get there, but the most amazing was a hot tub, even though it was a rainy December evening - we had an absolute blast, unforgettable experience! Will definitely come back again!

The owners are so friendly! They gave us a run down of the area and where to eat dinner. The apartment itself is cozy with everything you need. It worked great for three adults with room to lounge, eat breakfast, and still have our own space. It's in a quiet location about five minutes drive from the town.

Nothing, absolutely nothing. Completely misdescribed by owner in online marketing. Should have known when only four pictures were taken of the actual apartment.

Place was tiny. Dirty and shabby. Beds , ( no linens) and furniture and carpet all smelled of smoke and were extremely uncomfortable. My son slept on top of the comforter to avoid being in contact with the bed sheet. The actual View is of an industrial shop with construction equipment and debris all about, with a leaking pipe draining God knows what. Loud noises and toxic smell from the industrial operations immediately next door.Completely fabricated statement that there’s an ocean view. Cobwebs and black mold everywhere. Stove didn’t work . Pealing wallpaper and broken tiles taped to floor.Tiny TV. Total ripoff. Stay away from this hell hole. Would have left immediately but everything else was booked nearby. Ruined a good part of our trip to Ireland. Host should be ashamed of herself for being so misleading about the description of her property. Booking.com also for not doing their due diligence. Would not use them ever again. Can’t stress enough how disappointing it was.

Perfect Getaway & Hospitality

Ideal location for exploring, with the apartment just a five-minute drive from Portmagee and Valentia Island. The apartment was spacious, cozy, and fully equipped with all the essentials. Check-in with Paula was effortless, and Nathalie gave us a warm welcome, showing us around. The jacuzzi was the perfect finishing touch to an already amazing stay. We will definitely be back! The location was nice, and the apartment was large, comfortable and clean. We didn't get to meet Paula, but she had someone meet us as we arrived and she took good care of us.

The description of the property and facilities was a little misleading. The 2 bedroom amenities include a hot tub and also a washer. We'd planned to use the washing machine as this was several days into our trip, but were told on arrival that the unit does not have a washing machine. The cost to do our laundry was 15 euros. That was fine, but not what we expected or planned on. We did opt to pay for a load of laundry to be done and were told it would be brought back to us "later". By 11pm we'd still not received our laundry and when I texted to see when we could expect it, I was told that it had been dropped off at our door. No knock or notice to us. We had not gone to eat as we were waiting for our laundry. So no dinner that night. We'd also been looking forward to a soak in the hot tub, but nothing was said to us on arrival. We found out later that we needed to reserve the hot tub and there was also a charge for this. The assistant that met us with the key and took our laundry didn't speak very good English, so I think this was all just a matter of lack of communication. Otherwise, the place was nice. I suggested to Paula that to update her booking information on the site would be very helpful.

The apartment was very clean and tidy for us upon our arrival but besides this we were overall very disappointed in our stay.

Me and my partner had been very excited for our stay in Kerry for the beautiful scenery in the countryside. We went with Paula's accommodation as we were very impressed with the photos displayed advertising this apartment as well as the facilities listed such as: spacious, barbeque, washing machine, soundproof and an outdoor area with a beautiful garden view. However. We were very disappointed when none of the above was actually the case. The host's home is located across from our stay and we were quick to realize that the photographs on booking.com were her house as well as the views. Our views were blocked by a tall hedge surrounding the patio area. Behind our house was like a building site, stagnant pools of water, broken pipes and concrete blocks. This apartment has been claimed to be 'spacious' it felt like a prison cell, especially in the evening as there was no private outdoor space. A barbeque is listed as a facility, there wasnt one. A washing machine is listed as a facility, the host said we would have to pay for this service. Sound proof is also listed on the advertisement for this apartment, we could hear people clear as day below us. We were supposed to be staying here for 7 days, we drove back home after 4 nights (a 7 hour drive) as we could not stick this any longer. It was not the trip that was advertised and we wont be back.

Great rooms, close to everything.

Rooms are basic but had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast was excellent. Location in the middle of town near all there is on offer in Dingle. Met by the owner who runs a small reception which made check in easy.

We were extremely disappointed and shocked at the state of some of the features and facilities here. Firstly, we were not warned about the terrible smell from the tanks outside the building. I am asthmatic and had an asthma attack. We feel the tanks were extremely dangerous, as it seemed to be a petro chemical smell. Given that there appeared to be no working smoke alarm in the stairwell, our only means of exit, we were quite worried. Secondly, the advertisement said washer and dryer were a part of the two bed apartment, but they were shared, inefficient and we received an email for an extra cost after we had already used them. The young girl who greeted us had trouble understanding our questions due to language barriers so we felt it was too much to ask her for help. We just got the iron out to iron some of the clothes dry and it had a damaged and uninsulated cable, which the electrician travelling with us was horrified about due to the threat of electrical shock. Thirdly, we are extremely concerned about the open holes in the flooring, particularly on a staircase. This is extremely dangerous and was not advertised. Fourthly, there was no indication on the advertisement that the use of the spa would be an extra charge of 25 Euro per hour.. Had we known about these things, we would never have agreed to stay in this place. The only reason we didn't leave was that we could not get replacement accomodation in town at an hours notice. We feel it unreasonable to add charges for laundry due to the fact that this was not included in the original advertisement. also, we were asked to strip the beds and pillows as a covid measure and the condition of the pillows was marked, dirty and old. As we don't know the safety rules applicable to building standards in Ireland, we are sending our concerns to warn others.. At no stage were the owners on the property so we could not discuss our concerns with them.
