Hôtel du Temps Paris

It was in a very good location, within walking to Gare du Nord. So if you’re coming or going to the airport it’s perfect. Also if you’re taking the Eurostar in like I did. Next to the actual hotel is metro line 7 so if you’re wanting to grab a quick metro around Paris, the location is amazing. I ended up walking to Montmartre, about a 20 min walk (lots of stairs). The hotel itself is super pretty, as you walk inside the beautiful bar from the online photos greets you. They have a 24hr staff member at the front desk so checking in and out was a breeze. They even have these little keys with tassels on them for your room. So cute! Both staff I interacted with were super nice and helpful. My check in time was 3 but my room was ready early so I got to check in around 12. Of course I have to talk about their adorable hotel cat. VERY friendly and a joy to meet him. There’s a small elevator or if you would prefer, a very long spiral staircase to the other floors. I stayed on floor four. After a windy hallway (so unique) I found my room that opened with an actual key. The room itself was amazing, clean and the decor is very nice. An actual bath tub in the bathroom which was a great surprise for me. My room overlooked the city, and the windows opened up all the way to let in the breeze. I will definitely be staying here again.

I honestly can’t think of anything! I think I got a great deal on my one night. But I know when I was looking at booking earlier in the year, I remember it maybe being a little more expensive than I wanted to spend. BUT after staying and having the experience I did, I would definitely say it’s worth the money.

No dressers or drawers, so suitcases on the floor. Jail-cell bathroom. Constant street noise. Narrow spiral staircase. There is a resident, very sweet, old cat, that could be problematic for allergy sufferers

The property has character, is located near a variety of bistros and restaurants, and close to major transportation hubs. Add the kind and welcoming staff and there’s a happy guest!

The location is perfect. Lovely neighborhood with so many cafes and boulangeries, easy to move around the city. The hotel is very cute and cozy, decent size rooms, and a nice little area for a easy breakfast. The croissants are amazing! Very friendly staff.

The a/c in the room is not strong, and the lobby/common areas do not have it at all. We happened to be there for a week long heatwave and had trouble sleeping at night. If you are sensitive to the heat, I wouldn't recommend to stay here in the peak of summer.
