Comfortable beds, sufficient bathroom. Sufficient breakfast.

Missing a fridge. The stuff in the breakfast should be resupplied more automatic, we had to ask about everything, vegetables were missing on the table.

Very nice staff and a peaceful nights sleep

The ladies were lovely and although we didn’t speak each others languages they understood one of our daughters was gluten free and she was able to have a fresh gf pizza for her dinner and the lady got her something gf for breakfast as well. The breakfast was the best I have had on this trip as there was fresh fruit which seems to be a rarity! Very quiet and peaceful location.

OK with great restaurant but poor breakfest.

The restaurant was very nice with great food. I can especially recommend the ribs, which are served during special holidays. The rooms are OK (Room 14), although there is no AC, so in the summer they will get very hot. It was borderline comfortable at the end of May.

I usually choose the hotel based on the presence of breakfest. However, in this case, it was not the greatest choice. The lady serving the breakfest (blond) was late, so the breakfest could not be served at 7 a.m., as we were told in the evening. She also did not give the feeling that this is what she really wants to do in life and was quite rude and dismissive. Although it might come from the fact that she was late, alone, trying to prepare and serve everything when guests were already waiting. So I guess I should cut her some slack ;-). One couple, after the breakfest that they did not eat, asked where they can find a cafe where they could have a breakfest.... :-D

Comfortable hotel within walking distance of the train station.

Located on a quiet side street. Friendly staff; all staff members speak at least some English, but it’s helpful to know a few words of Italian. Room was spacious - no air conditioning, but a fan and good shutters to keep the sun out kept the temperature bearable. Attached restaurant with tasty pizzas and other Italian fare.

We didn’t get a Ticino Card because we didn’t specifically ask for one at check in. The card could have saved us 50 Francs or so. The hotel could be more proactive offering these money saving cards.

Very good time in Giubasco...

I highly recommend this hotel! The location is great. 7 minutes to the station, train to Lugano 10 minutes, Locarno 30 minutes. Ticino Ticket, which we received during our stay, travel by trains and buses is free. A wonderful town, close to 2 churches, a playground and numerous restaurants and cafes. The hotel's restaurant also includes a pizzeria. The garden full of people every evening proves the high-quality cuisine. Room cleaned every day and clean, new towels. Very rarely seen anymore. I recommend eating pizza baked in a wood-fired oven and Tiramisu. We will definitely go back there.

There is no coffee machine at breakfast but that is not that big of a problem.

The hotel was really really clean The personal does not speak perfectly English or German, but you can communicate easily and they fulfill your requests. The parking is in front of the hotel. We highly recommend it for families or businesses trip

Abendessen war gut, das Personal freundlich, die Betten in Ordnung

Das Zimmer war sehr spärlich eingerichtet - 1 Stuhl für 3 Personen, keine Gläser... Da wir zeitig los mussten, um pünktlich in Genua zu sein, konnten wir das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstück nicht wahrnehmen und es gab keine Option seitens des Hotels, evtl. auch ein Lunchpaket zu machen! Als Entschädigung gab es 10 Schweitzer Franken zurück - für 3 Personen!!! Fazit: Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist mangelhaft, unsererseits nicht zu empfehlen.

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt zu empfehlen

Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig und dennoch ruhig. Selbst bei offenem Fenster hörte man nachts keinen Verkehrslärm. Positiv ist der kostenlose Parkplatz. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind klein und schlicht ausgestattet, aber beides war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war recht karg. Im Restaurant des Hotels mit einem schönen Biergarten haben wir allerdings hervorragend gegessen. Der Zimmerpreis ist in Anbetracht des allgemeinen Preisniveaus in der Schweiz moderat. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt ist das Hotel durchaus zu empfehlen.

Een betaalbaar hotel op minder dan 10 min. rijden van de snelweg. Goed voor doorreis. De eigenaren waren nog aanwezig om half 11 's avonds toen we aankwamen. Omdat we laat binnen waren konden we de mobile airco pas aanzetten toen we naar bed gingen. Het bleef de hele nacht wat te warm in de kamer. Als het lang warm weer is, weet ik niet of deze kamer koel te krijgen is. Fijn ontbijtje, aardig personeel.

Le personnel est très sympathique et l’hôtel est bien situé

Les stores dans notre chambre ne fonctionnait pas (un des stores était à moitié baissé, impossible de le monter ou le descendre), il faisait beaucoup trop chaud dans la chambre avec une climatisation d’appoint mais qui est largement insuffisante. L’ascenseur est tombé en panne.
