The location is truly ideal: right on the beach and in the heart of Playa del Carmen’s bustling streets.
The thatched-hut village-style setting is very charming and unique, too.
The staff is very attentive.
Small tips: ask a beech front hut.
The interiors of the huts are showing their age (that’s why we put 8/10 instead of 10/10). A good makeover wouldn't hurt.

The worst value for money i have ever found in my trips
545 usd to add 5 days breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children.
The staff is really unkind,before coming we have sent maybe 8-9 emails ,no answer from their side.
The answer of our requests were always the same:no!
Poor offer from the restaurant and very expensive
Terrible cocktails and very expensive.
We were upgraded to sea view rooms but one of them was really old,empty and poor .The rain flooded into the room and parts of our clothes got wet.The hotel is divided into 2 parts,the principal one near the reception is renewed and clean ,our part seems abandoned and not well maintanance.
