They were the epitome of excellence in air bnb hosts sharing historical information about their property, serving delicious homemade confiture and yogurt from the serene dining room located in the old mill room over the creek, and offering local information on must see attractions. I highly recommend their lovely airbnb in the country. Convenient for seeing Chenonceau and the Loire Valley.

PERFECT experience!

We loved everything about our stay here. The value, the accommodations, the helpfulness, the attentiveness from the owners, the other guests, the cleanliness... etc I would recommend to everyone to stay here. We loved the old pool, which was in great condition, the land, the breakfast (homemade yogurt and delicious varieties of homemade jams), the rooms were really cool and creatively designed. The beds were comfy, the windows let in awesome breezes, and not heat at all. The sounds of nature outside added to the special setting. It was a quiet setting as well. We had a car, otherwise you really can't get here, in order to come and go. The roads around, to get around were sometimes one lane, which made for an adventure at every corner.

We liked everything, and there is nothing that we didn't like, nor thought could be better. Really, these folks have done it right! Good on them! We hope to return one day! We wish them success!

Very authentic, beautiful mill in the Loire region

Everything! Beautiful mill, very authentic rooms and very friendly and warm welcome. We were welcomed so warmly and we will definitely come back. We had a very unfortunate day when we arrived, but the host was so kind to bring us bread and cheese to cheer us up. I will not forget your hospitality and friendliness 😄

Away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful house and room. Stephen and Helene are fantastic hosts full of recommendations and great service and friendliness. Room was absolutely clean and comfortable. It’s a beautiful house! Breakfast was homemade and indeed superb.

The owner is very friendly and helpful, the location is beautiful and quiet but also close nearby villages. The sound of the river next to the room was mesmerising.

The bathroom door didn't provide complete privacy and although mentioned in the listing it would be nice to have toiletries.

Lovely old mill stay with wonderful hosts

Wonderful conversion of an old mill into a bed and breakfast. Lovely host couple who were extremely friendly and helpful in obtaining restaurant reservations and offering sightseeing tips and a tour of the property. Rural location, but short drive to the city. Excellent breakfast included.

As expected, limited restaurant options in the immediate vicinity but as long as you have a car it is easy enough to drive to them.

A river runs through it for real! (But no Bad Pitt)

Everything was as expected - Picturesque - Little Cabin overlooking the river - Very nice hosts!! - Fresh and some homemade products for breakfast

FYI you need a car. You can be dropped by taxi but travelling around on foot isn't really an option. (Still, I needed to meet friends at a nearby castle and the host very kindly drove me twice! Absolute gem)

Leuk verblijf vlakbij Tours en een aantal leuke kastelen langs de Loire

Leuke locatie in een verbouwd molen. Ruime kamers. Mooie grote tuin. Ontbijt met dagelijks vers brood en huisgemaakte jam. Dorpje is niet ver en heeft in elk geval een prima pizzeria (Il Sogno).

Bij slecht weer is het verblijf wat sober. Een zitje in de kamer zou dan fijn zijn evenals de aanwezigheid van een koelkastje en een koffie-apparaat.

Hôte passionné et passionnant, en complète fusion avec ce superbe lieu qu'il restaure. Chambre très spacieuse, bien équipée, avec plateau de thé et une bouteille d'eau à disposition. Petit déj classique mais très bons produits (pain viennoiserie et confitures maison). Je reviendrai si l'occasion se présente.

Le seul bémol ne concerne pas l'hébergement, mais qu'il y a peu de restaurants à Luynes.
