Hotel Marianeum

The breakfast was splendid! Possibility to heat up food with microwave in a little kitchen nook was nice. Room was big enough, bathroom clean :), there was also some soap and shampoo etc. Overall a great stay. Plus by staying here, you are contributing to a good cause - charity! The staff was helpful and friendly as well.

Breakfasts start at 8, they moved it a little bit by 15minutes for me but not everything was ready, I had to wait a little...

The hotel has a good location. There are many mini-markets and transportation nearby. Staff are very kind. Room is larger than expectation and with most of the facilities you need.

It's bit noisy if someone speaks at the corridor

The hotel offered good value for money, with a clean and spacious room with kitchen shared accross the rooms. I appreciate getting entry instructions straight via WhatsApp.

I think that communication was a bit of an issue: I did not get any information on the reception opening hours and when I arrived in the later afternoon there was nobody to answer my queries, and the only personnel staff member I met there did not communicate in English. Also, I was concerned about safety: when I left my luggage in the reception I found no-one present there on my return (and I waited for several minutes), there was no way to get someone to come there. I think that the hotel should always have somebody present in the reception for check-ins and check-outs. Given that the building is not just a hotel, but performs several functions for several people, it should have better security rules in place and implement different entry codes for different purposes, and always have a staff member present close to the reception.
