Very clean apartment.
The apartment is uphill hill, the road is very narrow and driving is a challenge. It can be seen very close from many attractions but it will be hard to just walk.
Also, the apartment at the ground floor doesn’t give a good sense of privacy.

A spacious, comfortable and ideal. We went with the terrace and we loved watching the sunrise/ sunset! Our host couldn’t have been more amazing, helping us with transport and very quick replies. A 15/20 min walk along the river and you are in the old town. Perfect! We would stay here again if we return to Sarajevo! Thankyou :)

Villa Borak is tucked away on a quiet hill, offering a peaceful stay while still being close enough to Sarajevo’s city centre. It’s manageable on foot, but having a car or taking a taxi definitely makes things easier. Parking was no problem at all, our host kindly moved his own car so we could use his carport. The host was welcoming and responsive throughout our stay. The room is simple but has everything you need: a private kitchen, a bathroom, a comfy bed, and reliable internet. It’s a great option for a no-fuss, restful night in a residential area.
There are a few things to keep in mind. Accessing the room requires going up a few stairs, which might be worth noting for guests with mobility concerns. The toilet seat was broken during our stay, not a major issue, but something to be fixed. Also, card payments are not accepted, so make sure to bring cash. Despite these minor points, the stay was overall very good and the hospitality stood out.
