The setting of Green Mandala Inn is exceptional. Having a meal while looking out over Kathmandu spread out below is amazing. The dal bhat lunch, topped up if you run out, is delicious and great value. The friendliness and overall comfort, too, are excellent.

It is perfect stay if you want to experience calmness in Kathmandu. Two monasteries- Kopan and Pullahari are reachable by short walk. There is a forest to walk and also you can trek more into the hills if you want. The property is run by buddhist family and it is like a temple. Boudanath stupa is also not so far by bike or a bus or even by walking you will reach it in 30 minutes.
some rooms have no nice view.
