Norbu Hotel

Rooms are spacious and very good weather, the owner is super friendly, he brought us to visit a beautiful temple, invited delicious local food, breakfast is nice in the garden.

I stayed here for 3 nights and it exceeded my expectations! The staff is all so smily and kind. The rooms are super beautiful with lots of light and a private balcony overlooking Kathmandu. I will definitely come back here!

The only thing I can say is that there is no hot water in the morning. But in the afternoon it is okay.

Die Lage abseits des Touristen Rummels ist sehr gut, trotzdem ist die Boudha Stoupa fussläufig zu erreichen. Viele Lokale und Geschäfte in der Umgebung. Empfehlenswert „ Hyolmo Garden Restaurant“, schön und ruhig zum draussen sitzen. Preis / Leistung des Hotels sind sehr gut, Getränke können unten im kleinen Lokal bezogen werden.

Das man in Boudha ständig Hundegebell, Flugzeuge, Strassenlärm ausgesetzt ist, ist normal und gehört dazu. Sehr störend war aber der ständige Krach im Hotel selber während der Nacht und der Zigarettenrauch der durch die Ritzen ins Zimmer zog. Das Personal ist leider nur teilweise nett, zum Beispiel die Zimmer Mädchen und der Nachtportier, andere grüssen und kümmern sich kaum.
