Amazing stay in La Casa nel Borgo

A short taxi ride from airport, the location was great, walking distance to shops, cafés, restaurants. Very smooth check in, lovely bottle of wine and some breakfast on arrival. Fabrizio is very friendly, and could not do enough for us. Apartment is beautiful, comfortable, clean and a gorgeous courtyard. Really recommend it.

Lovely property for a short city break.

Great location for visiting Citta Alta and Citta Bassa with shops and restaurants nearby. The property was well equipped and clean and the outside terrace was lovely. The owner was friendly and easy to deal with and very quickly sorted an issue we had with the shower drain during our stay.

The weather was unfortunately poor and the property was a little chilly with very little extra bedding available. The heating couldn’t be turned on as it wasn’t quite cold enough. No tea towel was available to dry dishes and as there was no dishwasher this was a bit inconvenient.

A lovely place to stay in Citta Bassa, Bergamo

Lovely place to stay, close to to town centre of the Citta Bassa near restaurants, walking distance to airport bus and station. Comfortable and well equipped with lovely private terrace. Friendly host and easy communication. I'd certainly stay here again, highly reommended!

La Casa nel Borgo is a perfect destination. Is located extremely well, easy to access and surrounded by restaurants and all you could possibly need. Fabrizio is an excellent host. Private taxi available on request. Perfect location / we'll stay again.

The best recommendation for staying

The apparments are in the city center, in nice narrow street, near the bus stop and the old part of the city. It was easy to get the key for the enter. The owner send us video how to get the key, enter, etc. In the appartmens you can find everything what you need for the short and long stay. It was lovely to find coffee and tea in the kitchen, toast and jam left for breakfast, water in the fridge and a sweet drink. Thank you for making us feel welcome. The apparments has cosy and nice terrace, where you can sit and relax.

For sensitive sleepers, it is important to be aware that the bedroom windows face the street from which you could hear some noise, the chatter of diners in the cafés outside the apartments (we stayed on Friday night, maybe its happened just in weekends).

Beautiful apartment

Location was great. Terrace area was wonderful, little sun trap mid afternoon. The apartment was lovely, clean, well equipped and just what we needed for short break. We walked everywhere with ease. Complimentary breakfast treats and juice were a nice touch :)

We really enjoyed our stay in Bergamo and would happily stay here again!

The location of this apartment is perfect! We went to Bergamo to explore the Christmas markets and the old city - even with a young child everything was within manageable walking distance. We felt very secure and our host was very helpful. We would stay here again.

I found the bed a little too hard but the rest of my family said they were OK. The sofa wasn't big enough for the five of us. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Loved the location, so handy for the town centre. Loved the fact it had an outside space to sit in. Loved the spacious rooms. There were three of us but we didn't feel we were on top of one another at all.

Everything was great, we had nothing to complain about!

A good apartment with a great balcony in Bergamo

We called the owner (Fabricio) and he met us at the apartment. He was very nice and helped us with everything we needed. The place itself was a two bedroom apartment with a nice living room. The great thing about this place is that it has a large, beautiful & privet balcony. the rooms are okay (not too large, and not too small), and clean. The place is in the middle of town, which is great, with a restaurant downstairs and a supermarket close by. It's also very close to the airport (10 min. drive), which was great for us because we had an early flight out.

It's located in an old building so the entrance is a bit creepy... :) The bathroom was tiny and a bit dark, but overall well organized.

the location was convenient. this apartment is large and have a wonderful balcony (you may have a breakfast here as this is equipped with furniture and there is enough space) the Host was very friendly always supporting !

Great apartment right in the heart of Bergamo

The apartment is right in the city centre, yet away from all the crowd and noise. It is very spacious , clean and it has a wonderful terrace. Everything is very close (restaurants, bars, bus station, supermarket…). Fabrizzio is a great host, very friendly. Everything was just great, i would definetly come back .

Couldn’t have asked for a better location, directly in the heart of Bergamo. The owner was really helpful, gave us good local knowledge for shops and bars. Lovely decor, and the terrace was fantastic to sit out on with friends and family with a bottle of wine and some cards.

Could’ve done with some additional plugs in the bunk bed room, but couldn’t really fault anything else.

bad cleaning- all properties is dirty, need maintenance: a lot of problems with plumbing - water not drain from the shower. washbasin defective all water flow to floor. dust everywhere and bad cleaning mold in the bathroom very low quality of furniture, apartments very date I’m not recommended to stay here.

Excellent apartment in great location

We were welcomed by Annalisa who is a wonderful host. We met at the garage which provides secure parking and which is a 2 minute walk to the apartment. The location in the „new“ part of Bergamo (Cita Bassa) is fantastic. Bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, shops are all very close. The apartment is equipped with everything needed and the welcome package was a very nice gesture. The big terrace is very well furnished and perfect to enjoy your breakfast, dinner, drinks. We can highly recommend this place. A big thank you to Fabrizio and Annalisa for a very, very pleasant stay!

The location is amazing, right in the heart of a cosy neighborhood with cafes, breakfast places, restaurants and a Carrefour Express at 5min walking distance, open until 11.30pm. Walking distance to the funiculaire going up the hill, to the old town. The apartament is on the 2nd floor of an old building (no elevator), it has a lovely outside terrace, it's spacious, clean, equipped with coffee machine (capsules), iron and hair dryer. No washing machine or dishwasher, but not an issue for a 2-night stay. Fabrizio is a lovely host who left water, juice, coffee capsules and a mini-breakfast for us. Private parking garage (secure with cameras) - payable separately - 100m away from the apartment. Fabrizio guided us to the parking and took care of everything. Highly recommended accommodation from where to explore the city!

Wonderful location for fun and relaxation

A pleasingly modern appartment in the heart of lower Bergamo. A terrasse kissed by afternoon sun makes for relaxation before heading out to lively bars in the neighbourhood. Surprisingly efficient noice reduction windows secures a good nights sleep, no matter how rowdy the party gets in the restaurants across the street.
